So, apparently I'm destined to be wet this week. Started pouring rain right as I was supposed to leave work...ended up waiting 45 minutes just to leave it was so nasty out...and I sure didn't want to try buckling the princess into her car seat in that downpour (although I still ended up getting soaked)...then couldn't even get to my house because there was flooding all over and a nasty wreck right in front of the entrance to my neighborhood, so took forever to get through, after taking an alternate route through flooded streets and then having to wait to get into my road...finally home and now for Spongebob...oh joy.

You're having quite the year/week for getting drenched!! Going to have to get you one of those sexy rain ponchos I believe.

My job is normally fine now that I've scaled back to three days, it's just having to make up for being closed Monday ... and a new inspector out to prove herself

...actually, the way it was left was that he's going to get with me when I get done with my dental cleaning and see if he wants me to come.
They haven't been back to his mom (and dad's) home yet, they've been at his sister's.
They're going there tomorrow. I figure that he'll end up wanting me to come though, he's doesn't do well with emotional women, he just, I don't know, he doesn't know how to "fix" that....and especially when it's something that really can't be "fixed", he just doesn't know (really) what to do in that sort of situation.
I get it, I understand how he feels, and I don't mind being there for emotional support, and back up.
I don't mind going....just the long drive.
