Good morning Dale, KC, Lori and lurkers

Thank you so much for the awesome breakfast, Dale. Went to Walmart at 7:30 so DH could take the car to church and I'm ravenous. ;)

WM is so peaceful early in the morning. I actually enjoyed myself  maybe I should do that every week. Lolz! NOT!

Lori, that video was amazing! That is A LOT of Christmas! I can't imagine the time it takes to put it all out. Once I got it up, it would have to stay up year round.

    Good morning lovely lurkers.

Dinner was great yesterday...and I have enough left for a great lunch today too! :D

I'm with most of you, don't want to do the shopping for Christmas, but since the kids are grown, money it is...just have to buy for the Princess, but she's 3 so that's easy, and for the bf...he's the hard one to buy for, already has everything so every year I have to really look for something different...we've already taken care of his mom too, so really not much else to get.

I also used to love to decorate...Christmas was always my favorite time of year, but for the last several years, I just haven't really cared and haven't put up one decoration...Bf does put up a tree but that's the extent of it....I guess I've just turned into a Grinch.

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday.

Yay for leftovers  I love girly shopping. I get to do that for my niece. She's 7. Hope you are having a good Sunday, too. :)

Good morning Sara and Angel

Just finished paying the first bills

Glad you had a good evening Angel :thumb:

    YOU enjoyed WM Sara?!o_O
Hahaha. Everyone must have still been in bed. No bumping of carts and clogged aisles. I was in and out and got everything on my list. Woot!

Yay!!! Everyone on my immediate side is coming for dinner. DH is making his famous eggplant. Should be a nice family dinner.

There was a time I used to love to decorate too...vague memories of cutting hundreds of rectangular strip with pinking shears and tying them on a rope to make "rag-tie" garland...yeah, THAT took FOR-EVER.
I'll be a Grinch with you.

    Sounds wonderful!!

Off the wall comment ... next April 9th this thread will be 5 years old
Oh wow! Should we have a party and invite people??
Snails has prob already hit that mark then, no?
I love eggplant parmesan....my granny used to make the best...fried eggplant is good too...not sure if I'd like it any other way though.
My mom used to make good fried eggplant too. :)

Welp, tried to nap...squealing/screaming kiddos outside playing. Sounds like they're having a big time.
Oh well, I'm just glad they're not having to stay indoors yet...that will come next week...ugh.

...guess I'll try to go stitch a little.
Needed to order some more white threads, and going to try another brand of needles, so I ordered that this a.m., and the cutest chart/pattern fell in the cart (online) too... :D
That woman I linked the You Tube Christmas home tour, well, her daughter is stitching this for a Christmas gift for her inlaws...it's REALLY cute, she's been showing her progress.

...later on, I want to get this one to hang as a compliment piece.

I would if I thought they would come ;) Many may not even be on ECF anymore

I don't know how old Snails is but it's probably the oldest on-going thread here :?:

You haven't had much luck napping lately have you? :(

How about a little dessert this Sunday evening :)

That's true, some come when summoned with the @ symbol.

I bet it is the longest running, hands down...

Nope, napping attempts have been epic fails. I'm sleeping well at night though, so I can't complain.

Oh, those lemon bars look good, I'll have a part of one of those. :D
