Hooray! Glad the storm watch has been cancelled. It's got cold down here, at least for us it's cold. It's really windy, cloudy and in the upper 50's. With that wind, it feels a lot colder.

Yeah, 50s would feel cold after the sweltering heat you all had.

Extremely windy here too. Watching my lighted ornaments blowing around on the tree outside. Probably should have brought them in. Not worried about the ornaments themselves, but the tree.

That's where I need to be then!!

I'd be down with that. I'd say we could grab Dale on the way over, but we know how much she hates the heat.

Didn't make it back last night.
Yesterday would have been FIL's 80th birthday, so we called DH's mom last night. He talked to her first, then I did...for an hour...after that I soaked, took some aspirin and went to bed.

Was busy again last night and no time to get back here...trying to finish getting the Princess's room all set up since I'm going to have her for 10 days starting Friday and since her daddy will be home any day, have to move her out of his room...btw, putting together a toddler bed is a big PITA!

Cold has hit us here...will only be in the 40s for a high today and we have some lows in the 20s coming up...BRRR.

Well, looks like the cold front is here in full force. Raining, windy and a high in the 40's today. Yuck! I don't do well in cold weather. For that matter, don't do well in extreme heat either. I guess it can't be 70° and humidity free all year.
I'm following posts from friends of mine since childhood posting on Facebook about having to evacuate their homes out in California. What a sad state of affairs out there.
