Nah, just not in the mood to play with flavors and stuff yet. ;)
Yeah I haven't been in the mood either...and I have the time to do it now, but not the motivation...I did break down and try a new recipe by a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago...it's been smelling divine and so thought I'd give it a try today...NOPE! He swears by it, but I'm hoping some more steeping will tame down the note I'm getting that just doesn't sit well with me...may try to mix it again without that flavor and see if that works...just too lazy to pull everything out again.

Good afternoon Angel
I hear ya, I'm kind of running out of gas myself. ;)
Yeah but you've been up for a long time...I don't have that same excuse!

Don't be! Kids grow up...we all know that. I have a friend(I use this loosely because she and I have butted heads a time or two. Our daughters are the same age), anyway, her daughter just got married. Now my Facebook feed is full of her posts about how much she misses her daughter, cries when she leaves etc. We all raise our kids to spread their wings and fly when they grow up. The mean part of me wants to post to her to put her big girl panties on and deal with it. I'm a bad parent because I'm looking forward to my son getting out to experience the world on his own.

Sorry guys!

I've often wondered how it will be when kiddo leaves us. I know they are supposed to but it will be weird, no?

They say you aren't supposed to let parenthood consume you. You still have to get out there and do your own thing with and without your spouse. But unfortunately I'm about 95% guilty of kiddo being my #1 priority all the time.

I hope the older he gets the more independent I will be :w00t::lol: Maybe 3rd grade will benefit me. Hahahaha.

Good morning Haunted

I'm not going to get any thing done today, made the bed and dressed, now I'm wrapped in a blanket reading and ready for another nap

Hope you are feeling a bit better. A nap sounds like a good thing right about now. Lolol

Good afternoon all my lovely lurkers

Trying to find my motivation to get some things done around here, but after paying bills, it seems to have run away and I don't even have the energy to try and find it. :p:laugh:

@JoeyC sorry the first night didn't go so great...hopefully things will get better from here on.

Dale, hope you can shake this darn cold soon...healing vibes for you darlin'

@Sara Love :bday: to your little guy!

Uh oh. ;) I'm so embarrassed.
Oh noooooooo, not when they're his age.
When they're older, marry, and leave as Lynn was describing her friends situation.
No, not when they're young. :) Sorry for any confusion regarding my post. ;)

Okay, nap time! :D

I worry I won't cut the strings soon enough and I'll be that friend some day. I hope not.

Enjoy your nap Lori. :)

DH just brought me a sack full of candy :w00t:

I wonder that also. Would it be different if we had had more. We often joke at being helicopter parents. Which we are to a degree.
:?: Sorry, I don't understand the reference to a helicopter

That's ok. A helicopter parent hovers over their child because they think that will keep them safe.

Yum, what kind of candy did he bring you?
