Waiting for soup to warm up.

I lurk so I can't post anything here, but i hope everyone creates a grand day anyway.
Hi Shadow and welcome to the Lurkers :) We’re here so folks that don’t feel comfortable posting elsewhere can ;)

    Wow! Wow again.
I hope he heals well and fast.
Thought I grabbed your first quote as well...Congratulations on your retirement!
    Have you recently retired?
I'll be 52 in July, long way to go before I retire. I work three days a week, so sorta kinda could call that semi-retired.

Thank you for the well wishes, we sure hope he does too!
He's not one to keep down, so I hope he behaves and listens to the doctors.

Holy crap!!! Maybe he is lucky not wearing the seatbelt after looking at those pictures. Prayer he follows instructions and heals up !!! Again holy crap!!!

It's hard to say, but yeah, looking at those pictures, I've thought exactly the same thing.

My niece spoke with the deputy that responded, wondering if he was going to get tickets, just trying to find out what they were able to piece together regarding what might have happened, etc.
...the deputy said he thought he was going to have to write a ticket for no seat belt, since he was (obviously) ejected, but looking at the truck, he said he absolutely hated to.
So, he must have been thinking the same thing.
He thought that was going to be the only ticket, possibly improper lane usage.
I think they're thinking maybe he hydroplaned or possibly a vehicle malfunction.

I'm still going to wear mine. I'll take my chances inside the vehicle. Lol's.

    Good evening Lurkers :)

Soup sounds good, it's chilly here, sunny but chilly.

You failed to mention to Shadow that there are...maybe 8 or so of us that even post here anymore....on a good day. ;)

Yes, 100% walking miracle! :nun: Thank you for the prayers, they're very much appreciated.
We've always known this kid was going to be one to keep an eye on, he's been ALL BOY since he was able to crawl.
His dad taught him how to pee outside at 4, and soon after, he whipped it out in the garden center at Lowes....peed right there in the rocks. He thought they were outside...he said momma, I had to GO!!!
I peed on the rocks like daddy said. :lol::lol:
Bless his heart, he posted/thanked everyone on his FB page for the comments, calls, and prayers.
He had no idea so many people cared. Pretty sure this scared the you know what out of him...
    ...how could it not.
