Good evening all.
Just a flyby~~~
I've got to finish up in the kitchen and go soak, then going to stitch.

Called to get an update regarding my nephew, and he's doing really well...considering.
He can walk and use his arms, within the given restrictions.
Meds are controlling his pain, he's already mentioned that he doesn't want to end up with issues down the road, so hopefully he'll stay on top of that and use them sparingly.
Please keep him in your prayers or thoughts.
Oh, and the only thing he remembers about the accident is being extremely tired, so he thinks he must have fallen asleep.

Okay, I'm off. If I don't get back, have a good evening all.

Our old neighbors came for a visit and got to finally see our new house. Was nice visiting with them for a bit and hearing the scoop on the old neighborhood.

They say we have a chance of snow flurries today won’t happen but still!
Very windy and cold for April. I see our dogwood is bloomed

Yes I am off today. However Mother Nature has decided that I must stay inside. We got a bit over 1" of snow that is packing down on the roads. Will be limiting outings today LOL

It's been a week! Glad it's over, but the weather has turned kind of rotten for doing anything outside. It was in the 70's overnight and a northern blew in with some rain and now it's windy and getting colder. Supposed to be near 50 by lunchtime. Kind of late in the year for a cold front down here.

Got some shopping to do today. Have to start moving stuff in the front room to store plywood, drywall and all that good stuff. Everything should be near getting delivered. Can't really start the project yet until this weather settles down. Wednesday, I take my truck down to the mechanic to get it fixed. The week after, I head to Dallas. I didn't really need that with all I've got to do here.

You all stay warm if it's cold where you're at. I'll be in and out most of the weekend. Later all!

Good morning Lori glad to hear you didn’t get any snow. It’s been snowing like crazy here but the ground must have warmed some because anything that stuck didn’t last long.

Definitely taking it easy this weekend, but have some prep work to do Will be solo parenting Mon-Thurs. DH has to go to Saratoga for a work conference.

Word on the street is Liberty has returned to the nest. It’s not confirmed yet. These birds weren’t tagged or anything. But people were saying this new bird is too comfortable with Freedom/the nest and smaller than Lucy. Lucy is a HUGE bird. I’m guessing there will be a lot of action in the coming days as Lucy tries to reclaim the nest.

Nothing right now, have a little pork roast I’m going to put in the little crockpot for pulled pork ... and a slab of ribs that’ll be done in the oven.
