Good evening all.
They were big! I put one of their paws in my hand, it was (already) as big as my palm.
Oh, they were soooooo sweet, and soft as silk.

Dale, your temp earlier seems cold for your area this time of year.

Sara, sorry you're still so cold there and have snow coming. :(

    Hi Lori :)

Yes it was very unusual cold weather for April in Arkansas  We’ll be 80 tomorrow though

Aren’t puppies the greatest? Course they all grow up

They are!! Hard to think of them as puppies though because of their size.
We were warm today, never heard the high, but I turned on the air when I ran to CVS at lunch.
Supposed to be nice again tomorrow, then rain and colder for the weekend...

    Heading off to soak. :)

Our air has been on a number of times already  We’ve even had heat in the morning and air in the evenings  Normal in a car, not so much in the house ... allergies and closed windows ya know :(

Have a nice relaxing soak :)

We've done that too. Heat in the morning, air in the evening...same reason. Allergies. :(

    Good morning lurkers

Nothing like starting the day with tripping the alarm taking Lucy out, turning off the alarm, missing call from the alarm company and having the sheriff dispatched to the house

While we should set the alarm at night, if we are all home, we normally don’t. However, I do set it when it’s just kiddo and I and just plain forgot as I stumbled around.

I’m not sure what happened. We’ve tripped it before, turned it off and no calls/police. I’m guessing the thingamagig on the doors to the deck automatically notifies the alarm company even when you shut it off. You have to punch in your specific code to turn it off.

    Good morning Dale

    Good morning Sara

Nothing like having a cop at your door :lol:

    Good morning KC :)

Omg, I’m so mad at myself. I hate that I wasted their time and sounded like a bumbling idiot because I was still half asleep. Note to self: start taking Lucy out the front door.

I had called the alarm company back as soon as I saw they called my cell phone. She said she would try to cancel the dispatch but apparently it was too late.

I hope you all have a great day today!! :)

That's embarrassing:lol:. Same happened to me, only it was a fire alarm. Couldn't get it reset in time and the fire department was dispatched.

    Good morning, KC!

Good morning Paul, I marked your post as winner for the truck being all set for next week, not the fire dept coming out ;) it is definitely embarrassing. Dunno what would be worse, police car in driveway or fire truck. Lol

Hope the sheriff office dont charge you for that type of service.
Fingers crossed. Also nervous about the alarm co dropping us as customers. The police had to come out one other time, a year or two ago because someone (NOT ME :p) didn’t lock the doors to the deck and we had a wind storm that blew the doors open and set off the alarm. That same wind storm lifted the glass off the the patio table and shattered it. I was furious with DH because I told him he needed to bring the table in for the winter. Can you imagine the look on the police officers face, seeing shattered glass all over the deck.

    Good morning all.

    Good morning Dale.

    Good morning Sara.

Good morning Lori  Hopefully you can knock that list out quickly and still have some down time.

I did figure out the front and garage door are on a timer. So if you open one when the alarm is on, you have a minute or so to punch the code in. There is no timer for the doors that leads out to the deck. So you get what happened to me this morning.

Oh well. Hopefully not a costly lesson to learn. :nun:

Hope you’re all having a great day!
