Yea on the good weather Sara!!

Dale, sorry you're not getting rain, hot already? Wow.
We're going to be warm this coming week too, but it's supposed to rain today....at some point.

Just a flyby, getting stuff knocked out so I can relax the rest of the afternoon.

    Good morning Lori

Ooof, sorry it’s so hot there Dale :( 87 sounds awful.

Sounds like a plan, Lori :) Sunday afternoons are definitely meant for relaxing.

Trip to Walmart this morning and I baked some cookies (frozen dough kind) for my mom to take to her school for a teacher appreciation luncheon this week and two trays of meatballs for the freezer.

You’ve been busy cooking, I’ve decided there are too many leftovers for me to cook today :sneaky:

We are having meatball sandwiches one night this week for dinner and there was not a meatball to be found in the freezer
The teacher luncheon was the perfect excuse to make the last two batches of cookies I had. Now they aren’t calling to me anymore and made room for those meatballs. ;)

Leftovers sounds like the perfect meal when it’s so hot out.

Leftover chicken scampi from Olive Garden for me :)

Rotisserie chicken on standby for tomorrow or Tuesday, marinated ribeyes vacuum packed and frozen for Wednesday ... DH made some tuna today so there will be that.

About ready to soak a bit and get into my pjs.

:censored: spent the day cleaning out the cab of my truck and working on a couple of engine/transmission codes.

I now have an appointment for the transmission shop for my day off(Thursday):(:mad::mad:

This is not going to be cheap, however it is promising since I have caught this early.

It is now time to drink coffee, and catch up on the forums and just chill.

I did a couple of things I knew to do that might have corrected the code issues. Went and had the codes checked at O'Reilleys. Cleared the codes and as soon as I started the truck up the codes returned.

Thankfully , I know of a VERY GOOD transmission shop here locally that will not just sell me a new transmission , when a service and a couple of parts is all that may be needed.

I hope it works out to be the lesser , it’s good to have someone you can trust :)
