Good morning Paul and Sara

Good morning lovely and handsome Lurkers

And I thought we had it bad Paul! Be careful working in those temperatures.

Happy Friday Sara, guess we won’t be seeing much of you if you’re going to be involved in a yard sale.

    Good morning all.

    Thanks for the well wishes!
This is a most miserable cold bug.
Day 4 of this....will try to sleep some today on the sofa, coughed all last night, didn't sleep barely a wink.
No worries, I'll feel better in a day or so. :)

Paul, sure feel for you having to work in those temps!! :(
Stay hydrated, and if possible, hop in the pool often to cool off!

Sara, sorry for the rainy weather for the garage sale.
It's pouring here off and on, we've needed the rain though.

    Dale, hopefully you're off today.

Thanks for the cuppa KC! :)

Have a great day all. :)

Ugg, I hate that you are feeling so crummy, Lori. I know it will eventually move on but it’s still stinky. Good that you are dozing and relaxing.

Latest forecast was rainy til noonish tomorrow and south of us Sunday. So maybe it won’t be a wash.

I can’t quit this place, Dale. I’ll be in and out I’m sure ;) Enjoy your day off.

    In your nightmares
    Good afternoon everyone :)

Was not able to get into the forum earlier, just getting back around now

Crazy times we are living in now, what is with these kids that they feel the need to go shoot up a school. I really do not understand after all this time the government can not figure out how to provide safety in schools to protect the kids. I am seriously considering pulling my kid out and home school her!!

There was almost 1 in Dixon IL yesterday, the cop on duty at the school shot the kid and he is in custody. Suspect was the only injury, cop should have taken him out though imo!!. These people when caught should be treated as terrorists no exceptions or plea deals!!

    Good evening all.

Joey, I agree, sad/scary times. :( Can't imagine having school age kids.
I'd seen that about Dixon. :nun:

Dale, hope you feel better! Yea that you got your batteries replaced.
I haven't looked at clothes in awhile...last summer was the last, wasn't impressed.
I usually just go for plain, solid colors nicer tees. Easy, peasy.
Boring, yes...but so much quicker. ;)

Heading off to soak, then to veg out.
Will go ahead and say goodnight now. :)
Sweet dreams when y'all go.

Have a good night and I hope you start feeling better soon

Good evening lurkers and sweet dreams lurkers  I am completely and utterly exhausted. Came home from work, loaded the truck with a few things including kiddo and headed up to mom’s. Just got home.

I had a hard time getting on at lunchtime. Finally was able to post just before lunch was over.

Kiddo was in Pre-K the year Sandy Hook happened. That shook me to my core. Those poor, sweet, innocent babies. If that didn’t elicit change I don’t know what will. I’m scared every day my kid gets on that bus.

Yay!! So glad you got your tubes changed. Sorry you were feeling squicky this afternoon.

Get some rest, good night

Good night lovely and handsome Lurkers

One day I'll manage to keep up here again :(. Hope you all are doing well.

It's gotten hot here too pwheeler. It's extra hot when you've got to use a torch at 3PM in direct sunlight. I just had to buy new shorts and t-shirts for the summer. We're headed out early in the morning to change a unit at around 6:30AM before it has time to get super hot.

I'm glad you all seem to be doing well and I'll be stopping in as often as I can, but these long summer days are rough. Good night lurkers.
