We're going to do that "boil" again. Not sure if we'll do it tonight or tomorrow though.
DH had to run to the store where we work for trimmer parts for a neighbor's trimmer so he's going to run to the groc. store to get what we need for it.
The only thing we added was Tony Chachere's Creole seasoning in addition to the Old Bay.
Can't remember if he did lemon.



Good afternoon all.
I didn't get on this a.m.
Got up blew through my chores, started laundry and went outside to clean up in the back.
This is the first chance that the weather has cooperated and that I've been motivated, or had time.
Made a little headway before it got too hot. Will do more later or in the a.m. again.
...now I'm going to eat and either nap, or keep going on inside stuff....guessing it might be a nap, but we'll see.
I'm kinda on a mission so I can just relax later this weekend.

What a week. GF was in the hospital for 4 days and I think I managed to snag a total of 8 hours of sleep during the time. Up early, head to the hospital to sit with her for a few hours, then off to work, then back to the hospital. Get home around 2am for a couple of hours of sleep, then do it all over again. Thank goodness she's home now. Been spending more time there than at my place, too, hence the lack of participation in the thread. Usually have time to log in first thing in the AM, get some administrative things done and then on to more important things.

Oooof, I’m sorry you guys are having a heat wave already. We will be in the 80s. Monday will be the hottest at 85.

Lori, hope your migraine hangover is gone and that your new neighbors are nice.

Got about 6 hours of sleep last night which is pretty much standard for me. Don't think she has anything planned for Monday, so it'll be a "chill" day where long naps are in order.

I’ve done the shopping Lori and that’s about it Hoping my gas lasts until Tuesday cause it’s very high at the moment. They claim it’ll drop down a little after Memorial Day

I did.
Took a good (long) nap after lunch...paid a couple bills and updated the checkbook.
Then we just had our grilled, foil "boil". Was really good.
