Good morning Dale, Joey and lurkers

I had forgotten about your cross stitch videos, Lori. Sorry you’re playing catch up. Glad you get a break today!
Hope that storm wasn’t too bad.

Angel, kiddo has one week left. I was thinking his last day was June 20 something but it’s actually the 19th. But we don’t start until after Labor Day.

Dale, hope you enjoyed your alone time ;)

Good morning lovely lurkers.

Angel, we have a new software system...well, except there isn't any software, the company that owns it/writes the program also hosts it, so it's actually a link...I guess.
It's the BIGGEST mess you've ever seen, well...that I've seen.
To say it's just absolutely unreal doesn't even cover it...I've been whining about it here and there for awhile now.
Otherwise, things are fine. :nun:
Hope things are well with you. You still running to BF's on the weekends??
I have a cross stitch friend who lives in Schriever, LA, guessing that's about an hour from your BF, and a couple from you.
Ugh! I hear your pain on the new software...having gone through a couple of major software transitions in the past, you definitely have my sympathy...they never go smooth....Glad things are fine otherwise...hopefully the work thing will settle down soon and you can get back to enjoying your cross stitch...and yes, I still go to the BF's on the weekends...I've also recently started going back to the gym in the evenings and have started a new diet too...no more eating out every night for us...have lost 15 lbs so far, so feeling better too. ;)

Angel, kiddo has one week left. I was thinking his last day was June 20 something but it’s actually the 19th. But we don’t start until after Labor Day.
Ah, that makes sense...ours go back at the beginning of August every year...I can remember when I was a kid though, and we didn't start until after Labor Day and still got out in May...guess it's all those extra days off they take during the year now.

Good morning all.

Dale, looks like you (and Joey) didn't sleep much.

Sara, I think I'm going to get a couple things done and go on and go in.
Will help in the long run. :) (ugh)

Prayers going up KC for a successful surgery and quick recovery! :nun:

Angel, to compound the problem, this is our busiest time of the year.
Everyone is totally (and rightly so) po'd that it's been done now and not in the dead time during winter...
so, basically no one has done the online training or practice...even our controller hasn't done much.
The new system doesn't carry over customer history...and it takes more steps to do normal invoicing, well...most everything.
Sure seems like we're going backwards instead of forward.
Thankfully, it DOES seem rather user friendly if you know some of the basics...I've not done a great deal of training and am figuring out how to do most of it. It also has a built in wiki, so that's definitely going to help (a lot).
That's absolutely wonderful about your diet/weight loss and getting in shape.
Losing 15 pounds is not easy to do!! WAY TO GO GAL!!!!
So happy you are feeling better too!!
I've been trying to forego a lot of fast food myself.

Okay, I'm off to get finished up and get ready to go in. ;)
Have a good day all!

Another rainy, stormy day here...but at least it's kept the temps down and we need the rain, so I'll take it.

So I mentioned that the bosses weren't in the office yesterday...turns out they had taken their son for what was supposed to be a follow up appointment about a cyst on his arm that was supposed to be harmless...now the doctors are telling them it's probably cancer. I don't know how much more they can take...first they lose their daughter just six months ago and now this...she was crying all morning trying to take it all in...my heart just goes out to them. :(

Oh Angel, that's so sad. :( I just don't even know what to say.
Definitely heartbreaking!

I'm home, went in at noon, it's just Crazyville there...the official "trainers" are supposed to be there tomorrow.
Three days of training broken up over the different departments and accounting. *sigh*
Off to eat and go soak....maybe have a cocktail. ;)

Surgery went well, they did biopsy before they took me out of surgery this time to ensure they got it all.

I am going to have a black eye for a couple of days, and tenderness from removal on left side of my face. I am taking tomorrow off work for at home recovery.

Thanks for all the well wishes
