In your nightmares
Thank you for all the info and well wishes :) how old was your step daughter when she had surgery? He’s definitely sidelined until further notice. He is not happy at all. But it is what it is.

We’re in trouble, the tv is on the north wall. No place for a bed  maybe if I just lay in the opposite direction. Thank you for the well wishes :)

Hiya Jerry. Me either. Gotta be cold when I go to bed....unless it’s winter and then I need my heated blanket on pre bedtime

Whelp. Guess I’ll have to wait til kiddo moves out and move into his room.
Thanks for the info, OBG :)

I knew today would be a bust, but you have to start somewhere. X-ray came back clear. (I was fairly confident it would) He is scheduled for an MRI on Monday. No sports/strenuous activities until we find out what’s going on. Hoo boy!! Not going to be an easy feat since it’s summer. I have one very unhappy little boy on my hands. Not much you can do though.
My step daughter was 20 when she had the surgery 2 years ago. Sorry the xray didnt show anything, the mri should give a better picture. Just a warning though the mri on my knee 20 years ago did not show that my acl was completely gone. So I actually was operated on twice. The first time they went in with a scope to fix the meniscus that is when they seen the acl was gone. They stopped the surgery and two weeks later I went back to have both repairs done at the same time lol

I really do hope he does not need surgery. The technology they have now is a million times better then 20 years ago, do some research for the best orthopedic dr in your area :)

Good evening all.

Glad for the negative x-ray Sara, hope you learn more Monday for kiddo. :nun:

Dale, that was nice of your boss!!

Interesting link OBG!! Our's is all wrong, well...mostly wrong.:lol::lol:
Glad you're getting things going in your shop!

Jerry, I can't sleep without air once it really warms up, even when the nights are cool enough here, the pollen count is generally so high that it's miserable with the windows open.

Great info you're able to pass along Joey. :) Sorry you've had so much trouble. Guess most who were so active in sports have.
DH had torn cartilage, edge to edge, it flipped and locked his knee.
He hobbled for three days on crutches with it locked, knowing and not wanting to go.
Course, he didn't tell *me* that he knew what it was until after he had gone to the Dr., he knew I'd have made him go sooner.
He played ice hockey from a wee squirt all the way through HS that he already had some torn from those days.
Like you, he talks about being banged up a good majority of the time growing up.

 I should've grabbed links, that's all I remember. :(

Yet another crazy day, but I think it's going to fall together (somehow) before the end of the month and we have to do statements.
The gal I work with has been trying to post the checkbook...today was day 2 of working on that.
She has 3 more entries. She gets a lot of interruptions, but since we have to do vouchers for everything, and since nothing was "in" for May bills/paid in June, it's taking longer.
Plus, she did it the LONG way around not really realizing it...learning curve.
It normally took her about an hour.
Some things are easier, but mostly it's more work for everyone. We're hoping to find some shortcuts, or some good reason for doing things the way it's set up...so far, no one is really happy with it...including the owner.

...this too shall pass. :) We also remember hating our old system when it was new.
Yes, a lot of us have been there that long.

Okay, I'm off to soak and try to veg out. Rita's already sitting in the bathroom waiting for me.

Thank you, Joey for all your insight. I really need to start trusting my gut. Wish we would have taken him sooner, but he was always fine the next day. Will definitely be doing some research. If he doesn’t need it now, I could see it later on. :)

Hiya, Lori. thanks for you well wishes. Enjoy your quiet time. Sounds like you definitely need it. Just wait, 6 mos from now you’ll probably be laughing at your former selves for struggling with this “awesome” program ;)

Yeah, I agree. Sports injuries are the worst. I can see needing surgery for my knees down the road. Then the helicopter parenting kicks in and I kick myself for letting kiddo get interested in sports. Bwahahaha

Good morning Angel and Joey

Dale, you need one of those windshield sun shades.

Thank you Angel for the well wishes. Fingers are crossed. :)

We are about to have one of the hottest weekends too, Joey. Feels like in the low 100s. Yuck! But I’m glad it’s not snow
