Good afternoon all.
I'm with Angel, been having a very lazy day!!
Hot here, had a decent nap, and other than that, not a lot going on.

Hubby has been a volunteer all this week at Bellerive Country Club where the PGA C'ship has been going on.
One more day.
We're going tomorrow for a little while. I've never been to anything like that before, not looking forward to the crowds, but will be a fun experience.
We supposedly have some good passes, so we'll see. :)
He's been working in the equipment/maintenance area/building.
He's had a week of super late nights. Tonight will be really late.
They have to have all the equipment ready, sharpened, adjusted, etc. for the ones that go out to mow and do all the misc. grounds work.
They can't mow until the last golfer is completely done. Then, hubby and the others have to wait until they're done mowing to get the equipment ready (again) for the ones that mow in the morning.
I don't think they always mow in the evening and mornings, but I guess it's all different for a tournament this big, and the weather that they've had to deal with all week.

Anyway, that's about all that's been going on here. :)

Yea indeed ;) No supper preparation here tonight

Feeling sorry for your hubby, that’s got to be hot work :(
No supper preparation here either...all week for that matter.

No supper preparation here...oh right, I don't cook anyway! :p:lol:

Glad you got to enjoy a good dinner Dale.

Lori, I would say poor hubby, but I get the idea that he probably enjoys it...should be fun for you guys tomorrow....enjoy!
You're eating healthier and not cooking??

Yes, it's been miserably hot for them, but they do have fans in the shop, and after the sun goes down, it cools off a little.
But yeah, he's been coming home drenched from sweating.
And yes again, he does love it, and has commented that this has been an experience of a lifetime for him.
He feels so lucky to have been able to be a part of something like that.
The JD Dealership where we work is the local Golf and Turf Dealer who is the equipment supplier and service provider, so one of the turf mechanics from our store has also been a volunteer in the shop, working with the regular mechanics that work at the golf course.
Somewhere I heard that there are about 4500 volunteers, hailing from 19 different states, and some from other countries.

Here's a short one that shows what DH is doing in the shop.
    It's a couple minutes long.

This one is not quite 4 minutes, shows the grounds crew/volunteers running equipment and such.
This also shows a lot of the equip. that DH sells.

Volunteering for something of that scale, yes.
He started as a mechanic where we work, 20 years ago, then progressed up through the company to road sales.
So, the equipment side is not new at all.

Okay, I'm off to take Rita for an overnight to the sitter.
Have a good rest of the evening all.

Actually yes I used to cook all the time, but once the kids were grown I decided I didn't have to anymore ;)...and now I have the bf to cook for me on the weekend...but as for eating more healthy, I'm actually doing the Nutrisystem thing because I am lazy and don't feel like cooking and all I have to add is fresh veggies to go with the meals (and I've lost 30 lbs so far, so yay :w00t:)...but I do make my own meals at least twice week, I just usually wait until the weekend so the bf can do the cooking! Yes I'm lazy, but also smart enough to have found someone who likes to cook! :p:laugh:

Lori, that does sound like hard and exhausting work for hubby, but it's great he's getting to experience it all.

Furniture is moved back into family room. DW is figuring out what pictures are going to go back up on the walls and placing the decorative stuff in the entertainment center/hutch.

Next project is either the ceiling in the kitchen(remove popcorn)and repaint, or work on the room we are calling the library(paint walls, install laminate flooring).

:nun::nun:Maybe I will have the house redone by the time I get to retire. LOL:rolleyes:

    Good morning all!
Lovely Sunday buffet and inspiration Dale!

Great idea on doing Nutri System Angel!

    Hiya Shad!

Oh KC, that would be great if you had it all done! Someone was just talking about a tool that makes removing popcorn fonifi much easier.
If you haven't already heard about it, try googling, it sounded pretty slick.

Having coffee outside and listening to the birds.
    Have a great day all!
