English peas? Not sure what those are.

I should have said, he leaves Monday. Will be back Thursday. Thank goodness it’s Albany this time.

I’ve never had that kind before. Will have to look for them in the store. They are good? Not a huge pea fan.

Yep, another “week” without him. I hope it passes quickly too, thanks. I feel like he travels more now than he ever did. Two things I said when we were dating: I won’t get married and get divorced (my mom was a divorcee and raised two kids alone) and No kids because I refuse to be a single parent. Now I do realize I’m not a single parent but 75% of the time, what’s the difference?

I’m off too. This week really nipped me in the ..... Sweet dreams Dale and lurkers

    Good evening all.

Joey, so sorry about Breezy. I'm sure you're torn up, they sure work their way into your heart!! :(
Oh that pic, bet he LOVED those scrabble tiles!!
I bet he'd lift the corners and scoot them all around!
I've had cockatiels in the past.
They are (can be) such sweet and fun pets.
23 years is a good long time. You were a good Papa. I'll bet it's mate is definitely sad.

I had two sweet ones, and one spitfire...oh my goodness he was mean. A biter too.
He would go for the spot along the edge of your fingernail, along the side.
His aim was true too, he'd get me 3 out of 4 times.

The pair I had were brother and sister.
I took them early so I could hand feed them.

Maybe get another for the one left behind, it might be a distraction and give it something to do (watch the newbie bird)...just a thought.

Angel, enjoy your big drink and hopefully relax this weekend, you're more than due!! :nun:

Sara, so sorry to hear that DH will be gone again. :(
My DH is gone quite a bit, but It's usually just an overnight.
    Having Rita really helps.

Dale, your dinner sounded really good!!
I didn't notice the time on your good morning until I got on tonight. Wow, glad you were able to get back to sleep some. So thankful today was one of your days off and you didn't have to go to work!!

Busy day at work, but not hectic. The day really went pretty quick, thankfully.
Finally made it to the sofa, going to surf the net a bit and go on to bed.
    Sweet dreams all.

We like them over mashed potatoes or in soup but don’t eat them alone. They’re mushy

:( Hate that things turned out that way .

Aw (((Hugs))) for the poor little guy :( I’m with Lori you should get another so he’s not alone .... maybe two since he’s probably fairly old
