You two stay warm, also!! We are currently at 55 with rain. Good weather to curl up on the couch, with some tea and a book or the remote.

I almost think that’s worse (frustrating wise) than no sleep. Well, we thought we had soccer practice this morning. I decided to stay back and get some cleaning done. DH just called to say they were headed home because no soccer academy when there is a holiday weekend and they forgot to post it on the website.
Today’s mom’s birthday and she wanted to go to this outdoor fall festival type thing. We were going to meet them after soccer and now......we will go earlier than expected. Kiddo isn’t the type to keep things to himself if you know what I mean.
I feel bad because I know it’s her bday but I really don’t want to walk around outside with rain showers and colder temps. Does that make me a horrible daughter?
Maybe it won’t be too bad. Fingers crossed.

Well, we thought we had soccer practice this morning. I decided to stay back and get some cleaning done. DH just called to say they were headed home because no soccer academy when there is a holiday weekend and they forgot to post it on the website.

Of course you’re not a horrible daughter, very few could actually enjoy that under those circumstances. Maybe mom will find something else she wants to do

Chilly but sunny day here. It's not bad if you're in the sun, pretty nippy in the shade.
I always love how 55-60 degrees feels SOOOOOO nice in the spring, and brrrrrrrrr, in the fall.

Ended up being a decent day and we tried a new to us, Italian restaurant for dinner. I had Eggplant Francaise which was paired with linguine alfredo and a slice of cassata cake for dessert. Mmmm. Sooo good.

DH and I tried eggplant once, definitely not for us Awwww. It’s not for everyone. How was it prepared? Parmesan is my favorite. I have a recipe for eggplant meatballs I’m hoping to try soon.Well when you drop from 90 to 37 almost overnight it’s a shock to the system
