Mmmm. I love Olive Garden. I’ve been craving their Minestrone soup and breadsticks of course....please tell me you like their breadsticks. ;)

It’s ok, don’t forget tomorrow will be 30 something
Oh yeah I love their bread sticks

You’ll have to wear short sleeves I guess

Ooooh yeah, finally something we agree on. I have a copycat recipe for their soup. Just need to not be so busy to try it out.

I’m breaking out the swim suit ;) kidding speaking of which we do have an opening date for the pool. We called late, should have known better, but they are opening it the end of April. We’ll know better for next year ;)

    Good morning all.
    Long time, no flyby!
Just read back, and all caught up to current...last visit was Dec. 26th...wow, time flies I suppose!
I guess you could say I've been hibernating.

All is well here, same boring life, but no complaints regarding that, boring = good in my book.

...has been cold as a witches you know what!!
The high today is supposed to be 40 (I think)...will feel like a heat wave.
Yesterday a.m. was a feels like of 3...
Had a bit of snow since Christmas, but nothing to write home about.
Oh...I fell at work on the thinnest glaze of ice, UGH...back in Jan.
Thankfully just sore and bruised for a few days...fell on my shoulder and hip, so glad I didn't break anything or hit my head. It had been a long time since I'd fallen, think I rattled every bone in my body.

Sounds like everyone is mostly well, although I don't like hearing about another possible surgery Joey. :(

Vacation/comp time changes sound like a bunch of crap Sara. Hate that for you!!

Dale, are you still working, I know you had been some, but haven't seen you post about it the last few weeks.
My dad had issues with some skin cancer removals, but nothing like what it sounds like your dad has dealt with.

Well hello there stranger  It has been a long time since you dropped by.
Hate to hear you fell, glad it wasn’t any worse! Falling as an older adult is bad news.

No I’m not working anymore, finally told Jack to do something else for help ;)

Yeah, dad has another surgery scheduled next week for more on his face :(

It has been awhile, just lost track of time really, didn't realize it had been that long.
Everything seems worse as we age. :(

Good, hopefully he finds someone, that work seemed too rough for you.
Long hour, too much heavy lifting, etc.

Bless his heart. Hopefully he'll be done with that soon.

Yeah I’m too old for that kind of work anymore I guess :(

Dad’s 80 so there probably won’t be a lot more. Mary recently had the same thing done on her nose

Good morning, Dale and Lurkers:wub:. I'm with Lori and letting time get away from me. Goodness, where does it all go? Nothing much has changed. Still working on the house, but upstairs now. Drywall and paint are mostly done. Trim and shelving in the large closet to do. Flooring. Lots of stuff left to do. Sorry to hear about surgeries going on. I've had my fair share of skin cancer surgeries myself. My dermatologist has me coming in every 3 months now to keep tabs on it. I guess in about 2 months, I'll open the pool and start getting it ready for use by the end of April, 1st part of May. Should warm up the water by that time. I try to keep tabs on what's going on around the forum, but I just haven't been thinking about it much and before you know it, months have gone by. And it seems like everyone I used to associate with on ECF are all gone. Just you all are still here. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Hiya Lori & Paul, great to see you two stop by.

Sorry about your fall, Lori, thank goodness you didn’t get hurt other than bruising. Co-worker slipped in a parking lot right before Christmas and broke her shoulder. :( Glad to hear things are well. How’s the pup?

Paul, glad to see you haven’t slowed down much ;) sounds like things are going well with the homestead. I’m looking forward to getting our pool opened this year. Kiddo is excited. Just hope our first summer with it is a decent one.

Dale, breakfast and quotes are perfect today. Thank you. :)
