Fri-yay!! Woot!! Soccer tonight, nothing tomorrow and family dinner here on Sunday. Gonna be a nice weekend.

Good luck for the kids game tonight We are taking my daughter for her birthday breakfast sometime this morning. Her grandma took her when she was 3 and 4 years old, she passed away in 2014 so we have been taking her to the same diner ever since.

Yes it is, she was the only grand parent my daughter knew Wait till you see the size of this dam waffle, will post a pic of it later. We got a ice cream cake from DQ last night for her, Dannielle took a video of it not sure about pics. Will try to see if I can post that also.

Guess my mind doesn’t realize it’s Saturday. Been up since 5:15 harumpffff

We had neither set of bio grands regularly while growing up. My mom remarried when I was 15 and my step grands are very dear to my heart. I lost my step grandmom when kiddo was a toddler, maybe 2ish.

Yesterday was a messed up day here, an upper apartment caught fire in the next building to ours. The buildings have an small alley way between them, the building are connected by the roof. Lucky enough someone seen the fire which started on the outside patio very early and called 911 and started ringing doorbells to get everyone out. Very lucky no one was hurt and the fire damage was very limited to the outside of the building. Do not know the extent of water damage to the upper and lower apartments. Only the family of the apartment that caught fire has been displaced. We think the gas grill may have started it somehow but not really sure.

We bought new furniture that was supposed to be delivered yesterday but with the fire it is going to be rescheduled, we got rid of the old living room set so we are sitting on lawn chairs

Omgosh Joey!! So thankful the fire was contained and your new furniture hadn’t been delivered yet. Glad you guys are ok. Praying for your neighbors.

You know what this means......since you have the space, picnic in the living room for dinner. (This was one of kiddo’s advent “activities” this past Christmas, he had a blast and I was running out of ideas )

It’s ok Dale. Just wasn’t in my cards, I guess. We had a lot of loving extended “family” friends and had as good of a childhood as we could. My mom did an amazing job solo parenting. I’m so thankful that my parents live 20 min from us and have been spending most Sunday’s with kiddo after church. DH parents are 45 min away and we see them a handful of times a year.

Ooooh girl, 33 and no heat is too cold for me. Hope it’s warmer now.

Ohhhh Happy Birthday kiddo!! She is a doll, Joey. And those waffles look delicious.

Beautiful, Dale!! I can’t even keep a cactus alive

Made lasagna for dinner with real noodles instead of those no boil ones. Wow!! I will never buy the no boil again. Omgosh, so good and we have two meals in the freezer. Yum!

Been a long but fast day. Not even time to change the clocks ahead but it feels like we’ve already done it ughhh. You guys do the spring ahead too? I hate playing with the clocks. Pick a time and leave it be.
