I am doing ok I need to adjust to the grind ahead me. There is a rumor going around that there may be 3 shifts. Not sure how I feel about it yet because I don’t have all the details of how they will apply to it.

I do get 2 straight days off I just have to work 6 straight days to get them. If they go to 3 shifts I may not get any days off until January. I have heard different scenarios so far and I do not like any of them.
We use to shut down for maintenance in the winter now we are running all year round. No maintenance means more break downs and fixing equipment on the fly.
My lack of seniority would also mean I would get the crap shift that I don’t want. Less hours less pay would at this time would hurt me financially which is not a good thing.
So for now I am just going to ignore the rumors, I just don’t think 3 shifts is going to work out anyway.

It’s super cute and there are about a dozen more on their way. Eggplant parm is definitely on the list. As well as some eggplant pizzas and pasta alla Norma. I saw a recipe for that last one on Facebook and while I love eggplant parm. I’m really looking forward to something new. Also have a recipe for eggplant “bacon”
