Yeah, something about standing and cutting her hair always hurts my back. Sitting down for awhile fixes it ...so far

Oh and these days. I totally understand about days being mixed up
At least you’ve got work to kind of regulate your days ;)

Yes and no. I feel like I’m still in March/April other than the temps. It’s extremely depressing to know that we are past the 4th of July, which to means snow is right around the corner.:lol::lol:

Pessimist....I know. I’m the girl who once we are unpacked on our vacation states to the whole family.....vacation is over.:laugh:

Oh my, a little early to worry about snow ;) It is amazing how fast time is flying by.

Coming home from vacation usually means lots of laundry :glare:

Good night Sara  Hope you sleep soundly.

    Thinking about you Joey :(
    Thanks Dale

I am doing ok I need to adjust to the grind ahead me. There is a rumor going around that there may be 3 shifts. Not sure how I feel about it yet because I don’t have all the details of how they will apply to it.

Less hours would be better for you even though the money would be less. You might even get two days off in a row

Hope your shopping trip wasn’t too bad. It was raining here this morning also. Now it’s muggy.

    Hiya Dale and Sara :)

I do get 2 straight days off I just have to work 6 straight days to get them. If they go to 3 shifts I may not get any days off until January. I have heard different scenarios so far and I do not like any of them.

We use to shut down for maintenance in the winter now we are running all year round. No maintenance means more break downs and fixing equipment on the fly.

My lack of seniority would also mean I would get the crap shift that I don’t want. Less hours less pay would at this time would hurt me financially which is not a good thing.

So for now I am just going to ignore the rumors, I just don’t think 3 shifts is going to work out anyway.

Hope you all have a great day :)

I sure do hope the 3 shifts don’t pan out. But definitely ignore all the talk because at this point that’s all it is.

Yay!! Glad you didn’t get soaked. Definitely a wet one for half the day.

Cheeseburgers, garden yellow beans and air fried garden potatoes with seasonings. Yum!! Omgosh, home grown tastes so much better.

We picked our first eggplant today. It’s a “basket” eggplant so smaller than the full size. But still perfect for whatever.

Wife made baked ziti last night, my daughter helped mix up the ricotta, sauce, meat and pasta in the pan :drool:. No pics it is all gone :lol::lol:
Sounds like y’all enjoyed it ;)

Pasta, sauce and cheese...perfect. I don’t blame you for no pics. It would have been gone here too. Lol.

It’s super cute and there are about a dozen more on their way. Eggplant parm is definitely on the list. As well as some eggplant pizzas and pasta alla Norma. I saw a recipe for that last one on Facebook and while I love eggplant parm. I’m really looking forward to something new. Also have a recipe for eggplant “bacon”
