Yeah, all good things must come to an end, blerg.

They did eat without me but to make sure kiddo had time to digest before soccer. I’ve stopped going to practices. No point with the social distancing etc. most parents drop and run these days. Andplusalso, if it were up to me which it’s not, we be sitting soccer out for a bit. ;)
You joke but I know you’re concerned. Hopefully it’ll be alright.

Yeah I can see where that wouldn’t be fun. You’d have to shout at each other and everyone else would be shouting too

Good morning Dale and lurkers

Woot that you got some rain!! You probably need it. :thumb:

Yup, I’m worried I made the wrong choice in sending him. Maybe he would have been fine with remote learning.

The morning went well. Got him on the bus and headed to the lab for the bloodwork. First time I’ve made an appt and it was super quick and mostly painless

Rained last night here also, there is a break until this afternoon then it’s going to rain rain rain.

Yesterday my daughter was a nightmare trying to get her to do the school work. So I don’t know if keeping her home was a good idea either. She doesn’t want to be home schooled!!!!

    Good morning Joey

I think the rain will be here Sunday.

Yeah, that’s probably what it would be like here too. Sorry it was rough. Hopefully today is better.

It’s his first time coming home on the bus. He’s always done the after school program but he’s aged out of it. I called in so someone is here his first day letting himself in/dealing with the alarm. I also got approved for the federal school/covid thing. 2/3 of your pay if you have to be home when your kid is, until the end of the year. Wanted to make sure he’s doing ok with the remote learning should DH be out of the house for work. So next week I’m off a couple days to be with him.

Yes it was time we got some rain, don’t think it amounted to much though.

I don’t know what I’d do regarding school if I had a school aged child, hard decision.

Your lab work, problem or regular check up?

Good morning, lurkers:wub: We got some needed rain yesterday  As of today we have another cool down. This might be the real one. 68 for today with sun.

Heather's two girls will be doing virtual schooling. They have no problem with it. The Marlow school does an excellent job.

    Hiya Ladies :)

She does not like home school because she does not have interaction with the teacher or friends.

I agree the humidity despite the low temps was annoying. Super dense fog both mornings. Today was just cold, 57. Only made it to 64.

Glad the girls are doing well with the homeschooling, Fran. Sure is nice to have one less thing to worry about.

Kiddo made it home safe and sound. No problems with the bus ride and he seemed to enjoy the day. So that’s a plus.

After dealing with a bunch of crap at work I have a new schedule thanks to FELA/FMLA childcare/covid leave. I will be home with him a couple days a week and work 2 for the rest of the year.

That’s great that you got your schedule fixed up

I’m sure kiddo was glad to hang out with friends today ;)

‘Wish we were getting those temps.

You know I would trade you temps in a heartbeat girl ;) Would you say you get a lot of sunshine also or just the yucky hotness?

Fingers crossed this works out. He definitely does better with the interaction and structure.

    Yes I do know ;)
No, it was a cloudy, gloomy, sticky sort of day

We did get to 71 today but very low humidity.
    That’s about perfect :thumb:
