In your nightmares
good groggy morning
not sure really if i'm awake just yet
no sun yesterday, doubt it'll show up today either

Do you use Neosporin? If you use it faithfully for several days it should help it start to heal.

Good morning groggy Shad
We’ve got sunshine, it’s coming ;)

Good morning Dale, Joey and Shad

Ouch, Joey. You have been suffering way too long with your toes. I would soak in epsom salt daily and add the Neosporin when they are completely dry if you haven’t already been doing that.

We’ve had summer weather this weekend. Got out and washed the windows that I could reach ;) Froze some carrots, jalapeños, little more broccoli and made veggie broth from the scraps I’ve been saving. 10 jelly jars in the pressure canner, almost done.

Hiya Ladies

Neosporin and soaking my feet every other day. Also was told not to keep bandages on all day long. I go to the dr tomorrow so will ask what else can be done.

I have been thinking about canning some stuff. Sara where did you get your pressure canner from??

Cloudy here also and supposed to rain sometime today

you could try to soak your foot in a vinegar bath 15 minutes daily
it has antifungal properties

I use 1 - 2 cups of just cheap white distilled vinegar or apple cider vinegar into a piping hot bath tub and soak for minimum 30 minutes it helps a lot with my kp and eczema and well tmi but other female issues :p helps restore the body's natural ph balance

We started out with the Ball Electric Water Bath canner. DH got lucky and found one at Runnings (Home, farm and outdoor store) You can use that to can high acid foods, jams, jellies, pickles, relish. I didn’t realize you couldn’t can broth with it. Dh is thinking he would like to can chicken noodle soups and beef stews so he ordered the pressure canner from the All American Canner website, after doing some research on them. I just looked and they are all out of stock at the moment. We ran into that issue with the water bath one back in August. Canning stuff is definitely the new covid shortage.

This is good info to have on hand. Thanks for sharing.

    Good evening lurkers:)

Where are y’all storing all this stuff Sara?
Basement. Lol it sounds like we have a lot but it really isn’t. The prep takes so much time/labor etc. We haven’t done the soups, stews, no jars. I’m thinking we maybe try those next year. I was shocked at the amount of tomatoes it took to fill a quart :w00t: You have this giant stockpot full and when it’s reduced and canned you end up with 6 measly quarts :lol: Make lasagna and baked ziti a couple of times and it’s gone. Will have to re evaluate after winter if it was worth it. I haven’t delved into jams and jellies because we don’t eat a lot of that.

My ultimate goal is to not have to run to the grocery store weekly, once flu season is in full swing. (Can’t remember if I already said that here or somewhere else lol)

Ah you have a basement
Hopefully it’ll work out that way.

I’ve only been shopping once every two weeks lately, makes for a bigger bill but I actually think I’m spending less. Probably due to not browsing

I do order some things from Walmart but wait until I have enough to qualify for free shipping.
They do in-store shopping for you here and an associate delivers to your door. I love it saves me from going into stores and running into idiots :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Fingers crossed ;)

Last time we ordered from Walmart it was like 7 items and they all shipped separately  I noticed recently that it was the same with Target. I’m not sure our Walmart delivers and the instacart got to be pretty costly.

    Sweet dreams you two
We have shipt here kind of like instacart

They separate a lot of my orders too, guessing they come from different areas.
    Good night sweet one

    Good morning lurkers

Yeah, I think that’s we have too. Curbside pickup. Tops delivers, I believe and Wegmans now has an app where you can scan the item on your phone, put it in your cart and at the checkout all you do is scan your phone.
Good morning Sara and lurkers

Curbside is good also it is free and nice that you just pull into a spot, they shop and load your trunk :w00t:
