    Good morning Dale and lurkers :wub:

    Never too cold for ice cream ;) Not much of a thunderstorm but boy did the winds pick up. We had to go fix the pool cover because part of it came undone.

    Got a link?
    Amazon.com : quarantine christmas ornament 2020 I hope that works because I’m on my phone. If not, just put quarantine Christmas ornament into the search. There are a lot of them at different price points that come up. :?: Bizarre!

    That’s a cool gadget too.

    We lived in the Greater Cinti area until 6 years ago. Snow and ice every year and cold, cold, cold 5 months each year. Hurrying from car to house or store all muffled up, freezing hands and feet. Heated blankets at night. Nah! We don’t even have winter coats here. Just jackets. I'm a gardener and here I can spend all day outside every day even in the winter. Can’t beat it.

    The down side is that June-August the humidity is horrible and temps are around 90. But just as people up north spend months indoors because it’s so cold outside we spend 3-4 months indoors because it’s so hot/humid outside. The big dif is we can still go outside early in the day when it’s cooler. It’s funny to hear lawn mowers at 7or 8am.

    We can wear our “Florida uniform” most of the year…shorts, Ts and flip-flops. If you hate cold weather you'll love it. I hate anything below 60 degrees.
    Reading this as I’m snuggled under my heated blanket :lol: Flip flops are definitely my kind of weather.

    Where did you get those from??

    My weekend has started :banana::banana::banana:
    Yay!!

    I had tried and failed to find them. My search skills suck.
    I agreed with what you said because mine do too! Think I’ve said “the internet is useless” more times than I can count the past few months. I never seem to use the right “terms”.

    Just today, I was looking to see if you could save Apple scraps to use *later* in homemade apple cider vinegar. The instructions I had for it were for putting it together at that moment. But I wasn’t ready to do that. When I searched all I got were recipes. Never did find the answer so I just stopped what I was doing, sterilized a jar and put it together. :rolleyes:

    I got lucky with the ornaments. I saw them on a fb ad. Went to the company’s website but it would have cost a bit more as it’s a Canadian company. I typed their description in Amazon’s search. :thumbs:

    Indoor is how they prepare, for the actual soccer season, during the winter months. I wasn’t 100% comfortable with outdoors so indoors would be even worse for me. But I definitely saw a decline in kiddo’s skill/conditioning because of missing so much at the beginning of covid. He definitely needs the interaction and the exercise.

    Awesome, Fran!! I bought 3. One for my mom/sdad, bro/sil and one for Dh.
