Hahahahaha. I feel like I’m locked up with two kids. Does that count? No? Aww shucks....I admit, sometimes I fit the 2nd kid’s shoes. :w00t:

Friends (gender neutral)!! I’m so excited. Because we can’t have normal Thanksgiving with our family, DH ordered us a fresh turkey and he picked it up yesterday, bonus that it will fit in my roaster pan. I thought we would end up eating a non traditional turkey day meal and now we can eat all our holiday favorites tomorrow.:banana::banana:

Don’t know if we’re having turkey or not, depends if I can get it thawed

I am going to smoke a beef brisket this year, I am not really big on turkey. Previous years we have made ham or a ribeye roast. I just finished the rub on the brisket I hope I did a good enough job with it :blink:o_O:lol::lol::lol::lol:
    I’m sure you did :)

I have no doubt you made a good rub!! I never really liked turkey until we tried it fresh. I sound like a snob I know :(

Stick it in the sink with cold water, refresh frequently. Fingers crossed.

Fresh turkey is better at least you know it was butchered recently. Store bought turkey who knows how long it was sitting in the freezer

Glad it is thawed out :)
