mmm that steak was the best thing I've ever had no, not really but at the moment

my stomach is finally starting to calm down
and I was craving a big juicy steak
now I'm not really much of a meat eater, and less so with red meat...but apparently I really needed some protein because man that was so good and mad that I didn't order another one
in my mind I know it's not the best steak ever, eh it was char-burnt and a bit tough but right in this moment
still half tempted to place another order

Yes, finally She stayed awake a good bit today. One month old already.

but I should still take it easy...that's the first real solid thing I've eaten in a week
but I still want more

gesh man I inhaled that steak and it was 10oz normally I'd be overly full but at the moment I think I could eat another one no problem
on top of already have eaten a bowl of soup and then had some mashed potatoes with it
I also ordered a salad with it but waiting on that, stupid me...whew hunion...not so sure I can handle the onions on that salad...put it in the fridge for later, thankfully they put the dressing in cups and not on it so it'll keep for a while...

Supper wasn’t much to shout about but the strawberry shortcake was pretty good

shhhh I ordered another steak from chili's again tonight
it's just been calling my name since yesterday...
guessing either i need protein or iron (probably both)
I mean after a week of soups and jellos, with the occasional mashed potatoes, my body is like nope, we need lots of red meat!

hoping it's as good as it was yesterday (again it really wasn't that good but at the moment that was the best steak )

pleased to say that steak was very good, and it wasn't just because I haven't eaten solid foods for a while
this one was not char-burnt or tough and was very flavorful...nummy

I can't say much about sleep right now...I've been sleeping most of the days away this past week...
think I've been asleep more than I've been awake lately...
but then again I really haven't felt well at all this past week, I get to feeling ok for maybe an hour and then it all just hits me again and *poof* I'm knocked out asleep

guess my body finally got enough of whatever it was needing because my craving for steak has finally gone away.
2 10oz steaks in a row that's more red meat then I normally eat in like half a years time

and I think I'm about to call it a night, it's getting that time again where I'm starting to not feel so great...feverish and exhausted, eyes are getting heavy....
I am feeling better than I was but still not great...but symptoms aren't as bad/strong as they were so we're getting there
drank a shot of vodka last night and ug it burnedddddd but my throat isn't as sore today and I have a voice again, still hurts to talk but I have a voice. So I mean I'm on the upswing now (hopefully)
I'll be feeling better just in time to get my 2nd shot well hopefully before then but the way it's looking I got probably at least 1 more week left before I'm really feeling better and then I go back on the 5th for my 2nd shot
I know everyone's all "you shouldn't get your second shot" but if I don't then what was the point of all of this....though I'll probably talk to my doctor before it's time just to get their opinion on it...but kind of silly not to get the second shot and be done with all of this (I say that but watch my dumb self still end up with covid after all of this just because that's how my immune system rolls)
ug anyways, sorry rambling

Ugh and they say the second shot is worse Definitely let your doctor know how you’ve been affected this first time around.

oh boy, first coconut cake and now strawberry shortcake. Lol!! I never even thought about shortcake for this weekend. I have all the ingredients for s’mores pie.

a friends grandkid's face swelled up with the 1st and the doc said don't get the 2nd, in that case I could understand.... I think everyone's concerned with my throat swelling, but it was expected, doctor said my lymph nodes would be sore and swollen. But I don't think my doctor meant as bad as it was/is....then again I already fully knew this all would happen, or at least figured it would happen given that the flu shot does this to me. But if the 2nd shot is worse...ug....I don't know if I can deal with that....
