Yup! Not as grumpy as I’d normally be after a holiday because with the exception of one day a week we are still open by appt only. Sure do wish they would keep it this way. But all good things come to an end

Hot dogs and air fried onion rings for dinner. Needed a veggie but we actually finished all the vegetables we froze last summer. Guess we’ll have to do a bit more this year.

They definitely don’t taste as good as they smell while being grilled and we buy the good kind. Sahlen’s. Not sure if they sell those out that way.

School day. Bus comes around 6:35. Forgot about that part when wishing tween was back in school

Yeah, his last day is 6/25. But we don’t start until after Labor Day.

I don't mind the Sept-June school year but I’m sure I would if we had your heat. I wish the start time was later. He’s home by 2:45ish. Great for getting homework done before dinner/sports. However, he gets to bed much later than I would like on sports nights and has to be up at 5:30 am.
