We had spaghetti with roasted tomatoes, corn on the cob and pan fried eggplant for dinner. The tomatoes and eggplant came from our garden. Mmm so good. I froze 3 large sheet pans of chopped zucchini
mainly for stir fry meals. Now we just need to get our pickling cucumbers canned.

Oh thank goodness, Dale. That’s wonderful news.
. Yeah it was good to know. Fixed the last of our ribeye steaks tonight with fried potatoes and salad. Meat at the store has gotten pretty ridiculous
Tried to get DH to go by Jack’s and get one but he couldn’t catch him, don’t think he tried real hard

I have a feeling it’s going to be like that for a long time with different things....beef, chicken, butter. The amount we paid for chicken wings for DH’s birthday dinner was astronomical. But I wasn't going to man the grill for 13 people and about half of the guests are doing the Keto diet. So we wanted there to be plenty of food they could eat.
Gonna be a busy day, we have 10 dozen ears of corn to husk, blanch and get in the freezer. Need to get started early as it will probably hit low 90s today with a miserable dew point lol.
