We’re both short Measuring up to me doesn’t really amount to much

I do not think I will ever get over what happened to Sue, she should still be alive as far as I am concerned. Waiting for an update from the lawyer next Friday to see if there is a case against the hospital for neglect/malpractice.

Oh yes. I live in North Carolina. Never lived anywhere else. It is not a bad place. Mild winters. Close to the mountains or the ocean. Really good doctors here also which becomes a concern the older I get. I say I am going to move to another state one day but who knows. I may go no farther than my mailbox.

hopefully we’re going to attempt to cut back my wisteria today

I love wisteria. Cutting back and pruning is hard work anytime but it takes me a while to get back into the swing of yard work. My happy little muscles say to me, "What the heck are you doing, I thought we had a deal." heehee

Me too but it was really getting scraggly
And yes, my body was very disturbed with me

Yes my wife passed away 8/13/20, still struggling with it in many ways. I have a 12 year old daughter that is having a very hard time also.

JoeyC I was not sure if I was doing the right thing by saying something but the need to let you know that I truly cared outweighed any doubts I had. There have been many times in my life that something so little as a word of understanding meant the world to me.

It is hard enough just figuring out how to be a pre-teen without real-life being forced into your world. Bless her heart. I am glad you have each other. As you can tell, I am an optimist.

Just a very quiet, lazy day here. The only thing I did productively was, of course, to take a walk. Got take-out Mongolian Beef because I have not had it in so long. It was good but not as good as I used to think it was. Maybe my tastebuds were lazy today too!

I have a feeling dad is going to keep me on my toes this week. He keeps mentioning things that he needs to do. The translation of what he is saying is what he wants me to do.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. They sure do go by fast.

I’ve noticed that about takeout and do believe it’s very common for recipes to deteriorate. Probably using cheaper ingredients.

We spent the day with the most of the kiddos, Kalli was in a really good mood today

Christina's bday was 3/5 I forgot to take her for her bday waffle until today. I have taken over the tradition since my mil passed away in 2014.

I noticed a change in the chinese food we had the other night it was kind of blend.

I thought it was my tastebuds. I normally go and eat there and it was always a lot of beef and a few onions, carrots, and sugar peas for color. This take-out order was mostly the other stuff and not that much meat and yes, the price had gone up since I last got it. As you said, the taste was bland. I will probably go back again but I know it will not be anytime soon.
