I just knew I was going to sleep well last night but I could not get comfy. Woke up to hard rains. My aunt called first thing to let me know a big limb fell off one of her trees. Guess what I'll be doing when it dries up? This tree dropped a limb last summer and I told her it needed to come down. Once again, no one listens to me.

Dad got up in the middle of the night and wanted to know who I was laughing with and why I woke him up. This wouldn't be all that funny but at the time I was sitting on the toilet. You just have to laugh at stuff. It gets me through!

We are having some torrential rains right now. Yay! I can't wait to see how much on the new rain gauge I got.

I know what you mean. I don't even try. Maybe it is just me but it seems like there used to be standard sizes that were pretty consistent. Today you don't know what size until you try them on. Shoes are the same way for me too. Go figure.

The came out again just in time for me to take a short walk. I was disappointed in the fact that my torrential rains only turned out to be 1 1/2 inches in my gauge. It sounded like more! Oh well, as long as it is rain and not snow. . . I'm good. heehee

It is Thursday and that makes it fish and shrimp night for me. I think I am going to let them have it and take me a salad to eat. Darn. I just remembered I was supposed to boil some eggs today. I knew there was something this morning I could not think of. OMgosh, I'm going to have to start putting myself reminders on my phone. Oh well, the salad will be fine. I'll figure out something to mix with it. heehee I'm rather creative.

I’m surprised the snake wouldn’t try to eat the tarantula

It might have if given the chance. Snakes and tarantulas are natural enemies. We never had the boa constrictor and tarantula out at the same time. That would have been very risky for us and them.

Snakes do prey on tarantulas but it's a rare occurrence. But also tarantulas can and do kill snakes. Members of the tarantula family are responsible for 10% of snake kills worldwide.

I’m going to cook DH some salmon and myself chicken since I can’t seem to swallow baked salmon

Ok, I'm trying to read today's posts and those from many pages ago.

That salmon caught my eye! I love all kinds of fish. It's the only meat I will eat.

So when can I drive down for supper?

wow!! Lots to comment on, been awhile I’m generally not a politics person either but wholeheartedly agree with you, Joey. Dale, I truly agree with you as well. Seems like politicians these days are only in it if they gain something from it. And that goes for BOTH sides. The electoral college needs to go. My vote for president doesn’t matter one iota and that ticks me off.

Someone said today at work, you realize it’s not just cars. Homes that are heated with gas, gas appliances will also be affected. I hadn’t thought about that. We are on the outskirts and heat our home with gas. No appliances though.

Stinks that none of us sleep well I did a sleep calculator online. Said my bedtime should be 9:45 if my wake up is 5:30 and I want to wake up between sleep cycles and feel good. I’ve been aiming for that but it doesn’t always work.

I hate clothes shopping period! I don’t like trying them on because I get all hot and irritated and ordering stuff sucks because I’m horrible at returns

I got stuck in a monsoon this morning. Still taking breaks in my car to avoid a crowded break room. My clothes were soaked and it was too windy for an umbrella. It was funny so don’t feel bad. The things you do to vape on break lol.

Speaking of What's Going On, Marvin Gaye released that in 1971. It was one of my favorite songs then and still is today. 51 years later it's meaning resonates as loudly today as is did back then. What we have going on now, in 2022, we have to deal with. And yes, I am 100% confident we will do that. After-all, we together, are Americans, and We The People should never forget that.
