Hope today was a little better for you, Dale

It’s a family tradition. We’ve gone every year with my family since I was 15. Lots of things to see and yummy treats to try lol
    Good evening Sara
‘Today was easy peasy since I only worked an hour and a half

Id love to visit a state fair just once, I don’t remember anything about the trip I made before except for the handsome boyfriend who took me

    Yay for an easy day!!!

Do they have one where you are? You should go one weekend if it’s not super far. NY’s used to be huge, I’m definitely curious to see what’s changed since we’ve been away from it.

Time for bed, have to be up at 5:30  I miss the blue screaming smiley. Sweet dreams

    Yes indeed!

There used to be one in Little Rock somewhere, our state capital. I don’t know if it still comes, assume so.

Yeah I’m expecting Kalli about 8 tomorrow, gonna babysit a few hours.

    Good night Sara

Okay, I am posting again and I hope you are sitting down as you read this because. . .

I had a wonderful day. Yes, that is what you read. I had my doubts about how the day was going to be when dad called me at 7:15 and woke me up but hey, 4 hours of sleep is pretty good for me lately. Of course, I never figured out why he had taken off his underwear (only the first 3 times shocked me, no biggie now although I prefer that to happen after I've had my coffee). He ate all his breakfast (2 waffles and a bowl of fresh peaches)

Dad was really tired from getting me up last night so while he was napping, I had a lovely walk and started a new book. Was rather productive off and on all day long. Not only did I get all the trim work done and edging but I even made some banana bread. I did not have any pecans but I had some chocolate chips. heehee

The best part of the day was I messaged dads doctor and told her he had an appointment with her next Wednesday but I needed help today. I asked her (again, a little more sternly) to give dad something that would help him sleep all night so it would help me get some sleep. She agreed to call him in something and I am hoping we both get a good night's rest tonight. I should already be trying to sleep but I just had to tell y'all I had a good day since it has been so very long since that has happened.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

    Good evening lurkers

It’s ok, Dale. We had to be on the road by 7 to get good parking. Had a great day at the fair. I had a bite of a sausage sandwich, some fried pizza dough, dusted with sugar and a couple bites of a hot pretzel. Oh and a gallon of fresh squeezed lemonade. We saw a newborn calf, just a few hours old. Also got to pet a couple that were born in August. I imagine it won’t take too long to fall asleep. I am beat.

Hope everyone had a great day!!
