Good morning to all. I feel so good. The last two nights I have slept 5 1/2 hours at a single time. Makes so much difference. I think my body was used to getting up so many times a night with dad that it became used to it. For several weeks, I would wake up and think boy I slept good and then I would look at the clock and it had only been 2 hours. So weird. Oh well, like everything else. . . it's all getting better.

I went shopping yesterday looking for a new shirt to wear. I bought 4 pairs of blue jeans the day before so I have a choice there. All my clothes were so baggy and made more for yard work. So now that I am going to be out and about, it just makes sense that I have to have something to wear. It has been so much fun. I have always been so lucky with my friends giving me their used (but good) clothes to wear. I guess the last time I bought a whole new wardrobe was when I got a job at the bank 44 years ago. Isn't that crazy? After I had kids, I only cared about what they had. I have never owned 3 pairs of boots and 8 pairs of tennis shoes in my life. You want to talk about some happy feet! :hubba:

We have had some beautiful weather. I gave two vehicles their pre-winter bath this week. Between my shoulders and knee, it has not been easy. I think I will take my car to a car wash today. I guess I have enough sense to do that. I have only gone through a car wash a couple of times but never with me driving. I love doing things for the 1st time. heehee I predict there are going to be a lot of 1st in my future. Hope y'all don't mind me sharing them with you.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday! I will let you know how my dinner date goes. I hope I don't embarrass either one of us. heehee

Glad you could just chill today, Dale. :thumb:

I helped kiddo with his room. It’s been a sore spot the past several weeks and grounding wasn’t working. I read somewhere that sometimes the defiance is caused by being overwhelmed. He’s been so busy with school and soccer, his room was a disaster.

Little white flakes are in the forecast for next week :lol:

    Snow?! o_O It’s almost 90 here :/

Ugh sorry you’re having a difficult time with him. Maybe he needs to spend a little time once a week on it instead of letting get that bad
