I bought were off Amazon and I loved them.

Yes, I do like that and that might help my issues some. I will have to check it out. The two I tried on did not have a skirt but they had gathers that I did not think looked good. Of course, I also had my leopard print leggings on underneath it.

That might have made matters worse.

I will check out the Amazonian! heehee I have been receiving a bunch from this week.

Let me say that Terry did a lot but I ended up helping only because I found it hard not to. He was going to cut up the tomatoes and lettuce but I asked if I could try out the new little mandolin I bought this week and Aldi's. It worked beautifully on the onions and lettuce. Shredded nicely. The tomatoes not so much but they are no big deal to dice.

I ended up getting some tortilla chips and cheese dip for an appetizer. I also bought the edible bowls and Snicker Brownie Ice Cream bars. I went to the regular grocery store instead of my less expensive places and I did spend $25 but it was worth it.

When I was vacuuming, I accidentally tore off one of the flowers on my new plant. I could not find where mom had a bud vase so I improvised with a glass I found in the cabinet and cut off a couple more to add to the candle on the table. Cute huh?


I really enjoyed my taco salad bowl. Terry said he would try one but he ended up just eating 5 soft tacos. I could not believe he ate that many. He tried to get me to fix one and since I have been pampering my tummy this week, I declined. I had a picture of my salad bowl (of course, I did) but it said it was too big to download here. Weird.

I was not surprised that he picked a western. heehee Yippy Ki-Yay! It was Clint Eastwoods Unforgiven, which I had never seen and thoroughly enjoyed. He cuddled up and fell asleep 2/3 through the movie which I figured had a little something to do with eating 5 soft tacos.

Anyway, it was delicious and I had fun in the kitchen with him and I also believe he had fun too. He is such a cut-up. After he left, I had a Snicker Ice Cream and an RC Cola. Now that was an exciting end to a night.

Okay, that was my excitement for the weekend and I bet you are glad my sharing is over for a while. heehee

Woot!! Weekend!! Dh is home. Oh and it was payday. Yay!!

Glad hubby is home safe and sound. The rest is just gravy.

Glad the snow plow woke you up but I would have to reiterate to Lucy the correct time for grooming. Probably would not because I still miss my little pupdogs.

Uh oh! I forgot one exciting thing. . . I can legally be packin'. I got my concealed carry today in the mail.

I honestly pray that I never have to get it out. But like my security system, it gives me peace of mind.

My class of $75. My application was $97. I am not complaining but it does look like they could have at least laminated the darn thing.

I think I will do it myself or take it to Staples or Office Depot. I am sure it would not cost much. I want it protected because it is good for 5 years before I have to renew.

I need to go read and calm down cause I am wound up this morning. The only bad thing is the book is not really a calming read.

Congrats on getting your permit, Rat2. I’m surprised it’s not hard like your license. Unless it says it’s ok to laminate I would double check if it’s allowed. Fun fact, did you know you aren’t supposed to laminate your social security card? So many people do. Makes its harder to tell if it’s fraudulent and believe you me, there are lots of fraudulent ones out there. One thing you could do depending on the size, is put it in a sports card plastic sleeve. That would protect it.

Your Friday evening sounded lovely!! I love love love soft tacos! Glad you had a good time and love your flower vase.

Ahhh Dh was back on Lucy duty. Said she woke up once to potty and I didn’t hear a thing. Slept for almost 8 hours. But now I feel like I got too much Never can win!
