I had one at home but my dad would not let me bring it. Grrr He said we did not have the room. We did. Oh well. I walked for years in the freezing and smoldering weather which could have something to do with the issues I have with my knees. A controlled climate is much better IMO.
The gym I go to is only 3 1/2 miles away. Technically, I could walk there. I just like it because it gives me something to look forward to and only costs $10 a month. I could even save a little bit because it is $120 for the year. I might do that next time.
I have just one move left in me so when I get to my final abode, I will look at getting a treadmill again. I like them. A wonderful place to read and clothes stay wrinkle-free hanging on them.
I had a wonderful time with Terry's sister and her hubby. He did not get to speak much with us because we were catching up. I told him I would let him talk more next time.
I ended up buying all our meal just as a treat for them. Her hubby thought he was going to bully me but I told him he did not want any of this. heehee He said he would buy mine next time and I told him no that this was a treat and next time we would be doing dutch.
I had the teriyaki chicken which has always been my favorite at this restaurant. They had the marinated chicken. Kenny is the one that I think I told you about that cannot eat any animal that has hair. It came from a tick bite. It is just the weirdest thing to me.
She asked me if I would come down to their house next time because there are some restaurants their way that they would love for me to go to with them. Heck yeah! I told her I can GPS my behind anywhere, especially for food. heehee
I am so grateful that she wrote to me. Of course, she wanted to know my side of the story which I told her I did not want to get in the middle and cause any bad feelings. Well, then she started telling me how her brother can be, and oh my, a lot of things fell into place with his actions. I ended up telling her the whole story to which she was not surprised. He had only told her I was such a sweet girl but I had tried to change him and he was not going to put up with that. I am 99.9% sure she believes me. At least now, I know that it is not going to cause a problem and I still have old friends that I can go visit on a pretty day. I love sitting on their porch laughing. And I am looking forward to going out to eat with them too.

Took a while to get going this morning but finally did. Good thing I was running late. My aunt called and wanted me to address an envelope for her. Not exactly sure why she could not do it but hey, I don't mind helping anyone.
I know it was all short trips in the Impala but I only got 12 miles to the gallon today when I filled up. That v8 loves the gas. I will probably get better on the highway. I will probably continue to take the Honda CRV for long trips. Maybe to the beach! Oh, what a nice thought that is.

Oh my. I just check my weather and it is supposed to get up to 55 degrees today and 84 degrees tomorrow. That is just so crazy. A big yuck for the 70% chance of rain Saturday.
Going to be so nice tomorrow, maybe I should get out the lawnmower again and see if I can avoid getting too close to the clothesline.
It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get me something a little bit smaller for me to maneuver. Or finish the fence and put up a gate on the driveway. Then I could get a bunch of goats. Problem solved.
I am going to go read for a while and maybe, just maybe I will get sleepy. It could happen. And then I could get back up and have my second cup of coffee. heehee
