Their beef strips are really good, but the "Slim Jim" style dried beef sticks are kind of nasty. :nah:

I have all the stuff except the meat to make sticks might try it next time :D

This place also sells all the supplies/ingredients to make jerky, and sausages too.
    Even "natural" casings.

He is part Yorkie actually. He's a Shorkie, aka Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix.
Those "lightly" mixed breeds make the best dogs :)

Guess I better sign off til this evening. We got beef enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, lasagna, chicken and noodles, chili and a pork roast done:p to split into containers and I still need to split up the lasagna, enchiladas and chili so I need to go do that.

Meeting youngest DS for dinner at noon for his birthday which was last week so need to leave here in 2 hours. After that I will head for the little house. You all have a good day!
Have a wonderful day Bobbi!! :)

Awwww...what a cutie! Love it when mine try to "help" with laundry. And they are really a big help when I change the bed linens. Lol Takes three times as long. Constantly trying to chase them off. One jumps down and two jump back on. It's a losing battle [emoji12]

We've been dealing with fruit flies. Ugh!

Just got home from the weekly trip to Walmart. Oh My Gah!! I think this trip sealed my fate of going alone Sunday mornings while people are in church.:eek::eek: The checkout lines looked like it was Black Friday!

Our Walmart is notorious for clogging up any free space in the aisles with racks of junk. People were wrapped around the racks in all directions, lined up into the clothing sections. It was NUTS! I wanted so very much to take a picture to show you guys but was afraid I'd get my :censored: kicked. Lolz!
We were in the checkout line for 40ish minutes.

Ironically when I first walked through the front doors there was a huge display of instant hand warmers. :w00t: I grabbed those up right away before DH made it through the doors with the cart. Our luck, it will be in the 60s for the rest of football  But I figured I could use the leftovers for stocking stuffers for the hunters in the family.

Ugh, that's the Walmart trips that I remember too. :(
Then the super tight parking lots, you're lucky to get in and out without getting run over, or hit, or hitting someone...or running someone over....:sneaky::lol::lol::lol:

It costs fractionally more for me to go to the little market the next town over instead of going to a larger groc store, or WM...but I figure it's money well spent to keep my sanity...plus, the closest Walmart is 30 minutes away, so that's an hour gone just there and back...plus time there.
I can get in and out of the little market quickly.
I go to Dollar General for cleaning and laundry supplies, but they revamped ours, and now they have a LOT of the basic grocery items now too.
I only go to a bigger grocery store occasionally for items I can't get at the other two places.

But yeah, I did the weekly WM trip for years too...

It's absolutely gorgeous here today!!

I would much rather shop at Tops Supermarkets, you can collect gas points and they aren't as sporadic as Walmart with the items we buy but DH insists on Walmart.

It's nice here too, breezy but not as cold as yesterday. :)
