Love eating at the Moose Lodge. Saw an old friend there that I haven't seen in years and she didn't recognize me. She had to take a pic so she could show her sister. These are the two women I named my dogs after. Rachel and Ruth. Although I called my dog Baby Ruth. She said I looked the happiest she had ever seen me. I guess she's right. She was sad to hear about dad.

It was a good night and I finally got some sleep. I needed it. Leaving sometime today. He is not nearly as structured as I am. But then again. . . no one is. Heehee

Yah, too dang fast I’m sure I say it every year, whereas most parents are like “Yayayayayyya kids are back in school” I dread it. I’d rather he be at home.

We just got home. It was a good time. Feels weird to not be staying over night and heading back tomorrow. But I’m ok with it. I’m am completely tuckered out.

Good morning Dale

Thank you for breakfast and quotes sooo glad I slept in my own bed last night. I was out before 9:30 and slept til almost 6:30. I had over 14k steps yesterday, all that fresh air and heat knocked me out. It got hot in the afternoon. I ate so many favorite, old and new treats. salt potato wood fired pizza, couple bites of sausage/onions&peppers, pizza fritte (pizza dough fried and sugared) peanut butter cream donut, frozen yogurt with fresh berries, fresh lemonade (regular and brazilian), reese’s pieces brownie sundae, tried frozen dragon fruit, and ended the day with hot roasted/salted cashews. Bought those to bring home.

We pick Lucy up from the “kennel” this morning. I can’t wait. I hate leaving her with someone else while we are gone because unfortunately you just never really know how they treat her. She loves it there and is super excited when we drop her off but I still worry.

Gonna be a scorcher through Wed. Mid to high 80s today and 90s the other 2 days. I go back Wednesday.

Thank goodness for ac. We are going to make another stockpot of sauce. It’s only 7 quarts, so not too big. We are dummies, yes. But I know if I put them in the freezer for another day, they will end up in the trash.
