Lori, I'm glad you posted that link to the teeter. With having back issues, I might have thought about ordering one but with also having middle ear issues, being upside down would be a big no-no! :)
No, it's *not* for everyone...that's for sure.
I had a friend years ago who had inner ear issues, and I felt soooooo bad for her when she's have a flare up.
She literally had to crawl around for about a week once, that I knew of, maybe more often.
It's working wonderfully, so far, for me, but definitely something each individual would need to check out, and if you have any health issues listed, do absolutely check with and get approval from your medical doctor.

Teeter does also have an apparatus that doesn't require you to invert.
I'll see if I can find that link again.

I will say that for me, it's been amazing to see the results after only a very few uses, and seriously, for no longer than a minute at 20 degrees.
If I don't have to fully invert, I doubt that I will.
I'd rather do the least invasive approach possible.

@LynnNC here are a couple sites that have *really* helped me too.
Pain Science - very interesting site about pain and things you can do to relieve pain, also lots of myths debunked.
painscience.com

T-Tapp.com
Exercise DVD's, founder had a spinal injury after a fall on a balance beam in high school gym class, awesome exercise program.
Specifically the DVD MORE Rehab is wonderful, it's my favorite, I have several.
Her "Primary Back Stretch" sequence does wonders!!!

In fact, when I actually *did* the DVD, my lower back pain went away...I just get lazy to *do* it, and figured a contraption that I could get on and off for just a minute or so might actually be easier to commit to.

Another one that has great exercises to help elevate pain is Kai Wheeler. Check out her website, and You Tube channel.
She's awesome too!!
I'll go grab her link. ;)

Lori, I can't ride rides at fairs and amusement parks that go around or upside down. If I do, I may as well head to the car...crawling!:lol::lol:
I get motion sickness fairly easily. I rarely have to use it, but I carry Dramamine in my purse.
After being in a car and getting queasy a couple of times from different road trips, I just decided to start carrying it.

Rides...nope, can't do rides, and flying in a small airplane isn't anything I want to do either...have had to a couple times, but sure didn't like it.
Heck, I don't like flying on big planes....

Here's Kai Wheeler's site, doesn't look like any new posts in a while, but you can check our her You Tube channel too.

...yes, I've been at this awhile, this search for back pain relief.

This is from the Pain Science site, spot #2 is one that has worked for me, seriously...I thought it was a flipping miracle the first time. Again, I just need to DO it...
Massage Therapy for Low Back Pain (#2)

This is another common spot that some people suffer with...
Massage Therapy for Low Back Pain (#12)

I did purchase the Pain Science online book for low back pain, it's well worth the $, but there is also LOADS of free articles there you can read too!! It's just kind of an overwhelming site because of all of the info. :)

...anyway  don't want to bore y'all with all this stuff, but those who *are* having issues, check out the links...

Since I had surgery years and years ago, I don't have that much back pain anymore unless I overdo. I had a wonderful doctor and physical therapist that taught me a lot about keeping my weight down, stomach fat(it pulls your spine out of line) low and to watch how I walk. And stretching exercises have been a lifesaver.

Thanks for the links!! New info is always welcomed!! :)
