Now you know I'm not that lucky.

I sure wish they did though. My regular dentist is closed on Fridays (they definitely have a happy Fri-YAY) so I called first thing this morning. They are working me in tomorrow. Of course, they would be crazy not to make room for someone who needs 2 crowns.

What did I do this weekend? I ATE! Grrrr We went to eat seafood with my friends Friday night. We had Japanese Saturday and then there was a Chilli Cook Off yesterday and they had 13 people who entered the contest. OMgosh, I have never seen so much chilli. I only tried 5 because I knew I would get confused.

You will never believe which was my favorite and the one I went back and got a bowl of. Chicken Chilli! I had never had it. There were navy beans in it instead of Kidney beans but still had the chilli flavor. It was delicious.

I not be a biker chick yet but I am starting to look like one. I bought myself some Harley Davidson boots. I have never paid $97 dollars for a pair of shoes but they are well made and should last me the rest of my time here.

I was afraid they would not fit and I would have to send them back but the were comfy from the gitgo. YAY! The leather vest was too big and I did have to send it back. Oh well, at least I like my boots.

I am not interested in football but it ended up being a good game and I was glad to see it was so close. It did make it exciting. Ken made a bet with a man who left at halftime. Ken went ahead a paid him the $5 because he thought they would lose. Probably 80% of the bar was pulling for the 49er's. Lots of unhappy drinkers. But everyone had a good time.

So technically, it is Ken's fault for my weight gain. He should never take me to a buffet where I am there for hours and hours with me being will-power challenged.

Okay, I have had my coffee so I am going to get ready and hit the gym hard this morning. Hope y'all have a great day.

I had a rough night and just got up

That was a lot of eating out rat2 you’ll have to be extra good this week

It was a good visit Sara, it’s been several weeks since all three came and spent much time with us. Can you believe Kalli will be 3 in April?!

Holy cow, where did the time go, Dale? My goodness. I'm sorry you had a rough night. Hopefully it's better tonight.

Sounds like you had a lot of delicious food and a great weekend, Rat2. I enjoy Pretty Woman and Steel Magnolias when they are on too. Good luck with the crowns.

Work was work and I'm glad the day is over. Another 3 day weekend coming up with President's Day on Monday. Look forward to that. Boys ate before I got home because kiddo had training tonight. They had leftovers from yesterday. I made myself a breakfast burrito and had blueberry skyr (yogurt) with a handful of blackberries added. Getting colder again and we are supposed to have rain/snow tomorrow and more snow by the end of the week. Guess that will put an end to my walks at work.
