Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. We got about 5 inches overnight. Roads were a mess heading out to the store, but improved while we were there. Brr! It's colder than a you know what lol Last I saw, the high tomorrow is only 18.
I'm hoping the winter outlook is wrong, Joey. You are right about the last couple of years minus a blizzard or two lol
Dale, you enjoy the 4 day weekend. I will be right there with ya. Go back Tuesday, off Christmas Day, work two and then off til the New Year.

Our Christmas party was good and we were all tired getting back. Now we have Christmas day here with the kids.

I’m glad to hear that you had a good time yesterday. Fully understand you being tired, we were the same.
I love to see snow falling but sort of glad we do not have any here. This one day 73 and the next 40 something is hard on me. I wish it would just makes its mind up and get it over with. I am ready for Spring.
We took another deer to the processing place yesterday. That is 3 this year. I think our freezers have enough now. Since I liked it so well, I want to make a big pot of spaghetti sauce. Perry wants to can it and that is fine with me. I think spaghetti is one of the easiest and quickest dinners. Not to mention wonderful on a cold night.
I go for my MRI on my knee tomorrow. I so hope they tell me it is nothing and will get better with time. They told me it would take a couple weeks to get the results back because they say we have a radiologist shortage. That upsets me a little bit because I had to wait 6 weeks to get the MRI. Sheesh! Oh well, nothing I can do but wait and hope it gets better.

Is everyone ready for Christmas? I hate to say this but I am just not feeling it this year. Maybe because it makes me think of last Christmas when Ken was with me. I used to enjoy it so much when my kiddos were little. Maybe I will get some of that back when we take Perry's 3 grandchildren their gifts.
I did enjoy looking at all the lights on the way to drop off the deer. It is a nice little drive. There are probably places closer but this family is so nice so I don't mind the drive. (especially since I was in the passengers seat)

Looks like we might end up with a white Christmas, this year. Supposed to get a few inches tonight into tomorrow. Made meatballs and an ice cream pie today for Wednesday, did some laundry, finished wrapping and attempted cut outs with kiddo.

Although I was surprised to be called in today I really didn’t mind it, had our Christmas off and they deserve theirs too and I can help make that happen
Cooked a ribeye for me and DH tonight with leftover sweet potato casserole, garlic bread and green beans, we’re in recovery mode now
Our laundry is going to really pile up, I normally do 3 loads on Monday but it’ll be Wednesday before I can get to any this week
