    Lurking, what else is there?

Well, actually I’m switching between reading, watching British mysteries and doing puzzles.
    You?
Not a lot. Working part time at the butchers, reading a ton, playing games, going to church. That’s pretty much my life currently.

Oh yeah, next year if I go back it will mark my 25th year in the butcher business.

Good night everyone, I’m hoping for a better internet connection tomorrow!
Pretty neat. As a kid I spent a summer delivering fo a butcher. It was great hanging around the shop, helping clean between deliveries. I was amazed how loyal some customers were, ordering from the other side of the city an hour away by bus.

    Good morning lurkers :)
Colder here than expected, 14 degrees with the high set for 28. The wind is a bit of a problem cutting right through to the bone.
    shock

Yeah my boss is well loved and receives a lot of business from all around. He was on a tv show several years ago, butcher’s competition. He didn’t win but got a ton of business from that so it kind of was a win in a way.

Good afternoon everyone. Super cold today and under lake snow warning. We were fortunate to only get about 4 inches and now sun is shining, deceptively of course. It’s brutal out there. Don’t remember the temp when I woke up but it’s up to 13.

    Wow, Dale….25 years, that awesome!!

Super jealous of your 50, Shad!

I really don’t like winter time now that I’m older.

-2 right now with a high of 5 for today.
I am not exactly sure where you are from but. . . I'm glad I'm not there.

The cold has always bothered me but they say that is because of my thyroid condition. Stay warm!

It is rather cold here also. Getting down to 13 but I can't complain with the temps everyone are have here.

I made a little over two gallons of bone broth and Perry canned it for us. He also made two big pots of spaghetti sauce and canned it. He made some awesome meatballs to go along with one pot. I love that on a cold night.

I’ve always hated being cold. I’ve lived in New York and upper Michigan, hated winter. Spent a few years inthe far east and loved it. Temps well over a hundred and I was fine. Live now in Tampa Bay Area now after retiring from Miami. And here if it gets below 60 I’m COLD.

Having another little spell with my back also. I am not sure which hurts worse right now. I hope my back feels better before my knee procedure next Tuesday. It has made it almost impossible to sleep comfortably. One way hurts my knee and the other side hurts my back. Last night I gave up and took something to help me sleep and at least I am in a better mood today. Poor Perry. He has handled my little snit outstandingly.

I am going to try to take it easy tomorrow and just stick close to my heating pad. Fingers crossed because that is awfully hard for me to do.

That's enough whining. I hope everyone is staying warm and toasty.
