    Afternoon lovely lurkers!

Looks like I'm catching the cold that the BF had last weekend...UGH! I tried to avoid him, but unfortunately looks like not enough...got the scratchy throat and just general yucky feeling. :glare:
    Good afternoon Angel

 You don't know how bad I feel to hear that :( Hope it doesn't turn bad on you!

Thanks Dale...me too, especially since we have another free night at the casino and are going on Sunday...BF's never got too terribly bad, he just had a slight fever and then the cough, but said he wasn't really congested...we'll see how mine develops....maybe if I give it enough of the evil eye that'll work. :p

Well, done with everything we had ready to press!:D Plenty of new things to start with on Monday, if it keeps picking up the way it has the last couple of weeks that would be awesome!;) Finished 2 suits and 21 shirts today... the boiler is shut down and the day is all about lurking and handing out/taking in more clothes. :p

Haven't decided if I will go to the ranch this weekend or not. Tired of that drive every weekend! Good to see DH and the kids/grands but....:rolleyes:

Your friend will make a nice Saturday respite from the weekend hustle and bustle around the house.:)

Wow, will you guys be hiring help any time soon? :?:

Changed shirts twice and pants three times today
First shirt was mysteriously missing half its buttons o_O First pair of pants were sliding down, second were " going out" pants; now dressed for comfort

Not yet Dale. Once we have a consistent customer base it will be easier to figure what help is needed and how long they are needed for. Being finished by 1 in the afternoon is pretty good though. With the shirt press, all I have to do is touch up on the shirts so it isn't exactly like doing a shirt, just fixing a wrinkle here and there and ironing the sleeves. ;)

Speaking of which, I have a pair of pants back on the table to hem. I forgot about those. Thanks Dale!:p

Well, I think my grandma spent enough time showing me how, and it was a pleasant time so I still find it relaxing and don't mind doing it. ;) So far today we've taken in 34 shirts (as well as other items, the strangest of which is a WWII cap with the leather on it) that will be due to go out on Thursday so I think I have some job security going on!:p
