Busy weekend and then I come down with a stomach virus. I do wish I could lose 5 lbs over night everyday.

but I definitely didn’t attempt homeschooling. I do admire those who can.
Boy I admire those who can too. I considered it when my daughter had Neuphrotic Syndrome when she was in first grade but I was glad it did not come to that.
Which also doesn’t connect whenever it feels like it.
That was happening with Perry's and all it was was dirt in the plug. He took it somewhere and now it connects fine.

. Did you say if he’s on bp meds? They might need to tweak them,
He takes 2 different BP meds but the cut one of them in half. It is still running a little low so I think they need to take him off one.

Just finished the Kindle Unlimited trial and stayed with it
I would probably love it but I have downloaded 1342 free books from BookBub and BookGorilla that I have enough to keep me out of trouble.

Having lunch at a Mexican restaurant today with the whole family to celebrate DD’s 35 birthday.
I think you had a 39th wedding anniversary Friday, if I am not wrong. What did ya do? Happy anniversary.
, it's not uncommon to see 90s going into October.
It has been so hot here. The feel like temp was 104 today and what was I doing? Trim work in the yard. What is wrong with me?
Repeat after me. APPLE SUCKS!

I'm allowed free range time. I intend on taking advantage of it on a regular basis.
I joined a club when I got my cc but I let it expire. I really enjoyed going. Perry wants to take me to shoot skeet but I am not thinking that I will be very good at that sport. It is something that you have to keep shooting to stay in practice. Glad you have places to go.

I am all caught up now. Just so you know Perry's dizziness went away after 3 days. I think it was an inner ear issue. They do not start immunotherapy until Sept. He has an appt. with blood doctor next month also to figure out why his platelet count is so low.

I finally have the time to travel and the only place I am going is different doctors.

Stay cool, everyone.

Look at me. I said "Godnight" to the thread and now I am saying "Goodmorning".

I sent Perry home last night because I thought I needed a little me time. I washed my sheets, took a shower, and even shaved my legs because I just knew I was going to sleep really well.

I was really wrong. heehee Oh well, I will try again tonight.

I am going to get the Impala out and give her a bath, and then off to the grocery store. I want to get out there before it gets so awfully hot.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning Rat2  and lurkers. :)

Wow I can’t believe you remember that Rat2! Yes it was Friday and it was the 39th . DH spoiled me rotten with flowers, bath bombs, two donuts from my favorite donut restaurant. Most importantly we had our driveway fixed  The ruts from runoff were absolutely terrible and damaging, it was long overdue. My boss came over with a huge machine and spread the gravel for us.

Click on the picture and you can see the beautiful flowers :)

Skeet is a whole different ball game. It's fun as all get out, but tell 'em to go easy on you at first. It's been ages since I've been out to shoot some clay birds.

Training continues with a lot of curve balls thrown in to see how we react to different situations. I haven't goofed up yet, but we've had a few team members shoot when they really shouldn't have. But on the bright side, it's a learning thing that teaches you target distinction is very important. Please don't shoot the off duty cop. LMAO

8 more days of training and then it's time for school to start. As this is the first year that weapons detectors will be used at the entrances, the first week or two promises to be very interesting indeed.

He took me out to the range to watch and I was amazed at all the women that were there, and they were good.

Perry was very good at one time, but he has Dupuytren's disease, which hampers him a little bit. He had his pinkies fixed one time, but it only lasted 2 years. He has a friend and she had the same thing. She had her pinkies cut off and is happy with her decision. He is considering it. He says they get in the way and he doesn't use them that much. If it was me, I'd have the surgery again and keep my good fingers crossed.

I think I am more of a target kinda gal. It does look fun, though.

I hit the floor running this morning. I had good intentions, but the gods were not with me. I was backing the truck out of the way with the door open, and as I was looking back, I hit the brak,e and the door swung and hit me in the head. OUCH!

Then I got everything ready to wash the car and I could not find my hose nozzle. Found an old one and thought I was back in business and I turned the water on and just dribbled. Grrrrr then I got the great idea to get out the pressure washer. I pulled on the darn string til my shoulder would not let me anymore. I just put everything up and will try another day.

Did grocery shopping for my house, which I have not done in a while. That's always fun. Came home and left again to go to the dollar store for a birthday card. $14 dollars later, I called a friend and went to eat at my fav Pho restaurant. I love their beef and green beans.

Then my gf wanted to stop at a bar/restaurant. I decided I was a big girl, and I ordered a Mexican Russian because they said it was good. It was good,d but not worth $8. Sheesh! Boy, am I glad I am not a drinker. Who can afford it?

Came home and sprayed a half gallon of Roundup. I hate using that, and my friend said he would do it. Of course, I had waited long enough and just did it myself. I was sweating like crazy. Had to come in and peel off my dripping clothes. It is crazy hot here. I heard it was supposed to be 80 this weekend, and that is going to feel like a cold front.

Home alone again tonight and quite relaxed. I think a little time away was a good idea. I have been staying with him solid since his pacemaker.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
