That’s quite interesting about the supplement you are using, might have to look into that myself.
Many years ago, I tried several of the cholesterol drugs, and I just could not take statins. It made me hurt worse. My father took Lipitor for years and complained about his legs hurting so badly. After much fussing with him, he went off Lipitor, and 3 days later, his legs stopped hurting. He would never go back on Lipitor. I started giving him Red Yeast Rice, and it took care of his problem. In fact, his dosage got too low, and I had to cut it down.

It worked for my cousin, and now it is working for Perry. He was taking 1200mg once a day, and it brought it down, but it was still a little high. I increased his dosage to twice a day (what I take), and he can't wait to see what his next test result is. Read about it. I am a believer, and anytime I can avoid taking a drug, it is a win!

Mornin' all.

I'll have to give that Red Yeast Rice a whirl. My cholesterol has been borderline for years.

Weather is wet wet wet right now. Temps aren't supposed to dip into the freezing mark until late tonight, although hovering around 33 for several hours before it plummets into the cellar. Had to do an emergency run into Wally World. Danged Keurig decided to give up the ghost this morning and I was NOT about go without coffee!

Good evening everyone :)

Yup, your storm is supposed to hit us Sunday into Monday. Add another 14 inches to the 3ft already out there. Windy, zero visibility at times from blowing snow and white knuckle driving. I’ve decided Monday is a snow day for me if they don’t already call it. Made a rookie mistake tonight and almost ended up in the middle of a very busy intersection. Scared me half to death. Ohhh and I WAS driving under the speed limit ;) I hope you all keep your power on and stay nice and warm.

I got a soft spot for bullies. Popeye is gorgeous!!! Ask Dh how many times Lucy wakes him up in the middle of the night. He’s not a fan of cats but I think at this point he would swap her for one. She does wake me once in the night when he’s out of town but I also stay up later than normal to take her out one more time.

Nope. Not going ANYWHERE until at least Monday, and only then if they don't declare a snow day for the school district. If that happens, car stays in the driveway until Tuesday. I don't have any doubts about my ability to drive in this stuff (grew up with it). But the other idiots who have never seen snow or ice on the roads WILL be out there thinking everything is fine. NOPE!!!!

    Hi Sara!

That is a LOT of snow! It’s already starting to sleet and snow here, it’s 4 or 5 hours early.

We went to the Moose tonight, and they had ribeyes. YUM! Perry and I split it, and I ate every bite. They have such an awesome salad bar. I was going to have tuna steaks, but Perry said, since we were expecting bad weather, that we should go out to eat. Didn't take me long to put everything back in the fridge.

It will be just as good tomorrow night after marinating overnight.

I felt sorry for Perry. He has been on Mounjaro since May, and he never paid a dime. His insurance paid it all. I went to pick it up today, and the same insurance plan will only cover 80%. I know that sounds acceptable, but it is a little over $4000.00 for a 3 month supply. Oh well, looking on the positive side, it won't take him long to meet his deductible.

The doctor told him that even when he lost all his weight, they wanted him to stay on this injection because it has so many benefits for his heart condition. I am just glad he is doing so well and feeling much better than when I first started dating him.

Hope everyone has a nice WARM weekend!

I hear ya! I would have done the same thing. I love my Keurig Mini. I use that, and I fix Perry's in the 14-cup Mr. Coffee. He takes it to work. Glad you got that issue resolved.

    Mornin' all.

Looks like we've gotten mostly sleet so far, but looking out the back slider it looks like a solid sheet of ice on the ground as well. Not enough coffee in my system to even contemplate going out for a closer look. Hell, the only reason I'm up right now is I had to do a nature call.
