Had a good day today. I took my laundry to the cleaners this morning so have all my clothes fresh and clean. We ran a load of shirts to start Monday off with and Clay cleaned the hat, pressed a load of heavy starch jeans and spotted a shirt I would have bet money wouldn't clean. The shirt had light blue oil base paint on it where the man had leaned up against fresh paint in a white shirt...he got it out!!!
Came home at noon and carried my laundry in... I had forgotten what it was like taking laundry OUT to do it, how can one clean person have so darn many dirty clothes... got that all put away and had some chicken enchiladas for dinner then made my bed with nice fresh sheets, crawled in and had a nap for 3+ hours!!! Man that felt good! I haven't had an afternoon nap since I came up here in early September.
Went to the grocery store across the way and found blueberry scones, croissants, english muffins, lemon marmalade, white hot chocolate, hot chocolate, an apple pie and a peach pie. (insert the slobbering emoji here) Clay and Jami invited me to come for bbq ribs tomorrow and when I asked what to bring he said something to go with ice cream...I figure his favorite is apple pie and mine is peach and Jami likes both so that should cover it. The rest was me wandering around the store getting familiarized with it. They have a big selection of gourmet and great fruit and veggies as well as the bakery and deli. You would think this town is much bigger than it is looking at their selections. Almost convinced myself to make pancakes in the morning just to try some of the flavors of syrup (I did say almost) but one has to set limits somewhere (and getting up early enough to eat pancakes and go to dinner at the kids seemed like a good place to start limiting!

Yum!!Well had a nice little nap...still feel yucky but the nap was nice...and apparently my appetite is still just fine...that dessert looks awesome Dale...looks like we're having fried shrimp for dinner tonight...yum!

No worries, I'm kinda tired too. Hope you had a good day.
I cleaned a little in my car...vac, dusted, and wiped out...just a quickie, but it needed it.
Then ran to the store about 4:30 with a fairly short list.
DH was cleaning and re-organizing the garage, so dinner was a little later than normal, and I just finished up in the kitchen here.
OH!!!!! AND....I taped off my Copper Vein Reo, and DH sealed it!!!!!
Had been waiting for the humidity to drop some, then forgot
but I wanted to get that done before it gets too cold, so YEA!!!I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.
Guess I'll say goodnight too. Heading for a soak.
