Here's a question for you all. Do you think the way you vape has changed since you started? I don't mean what you use or MTL vs DL. More like how you physically do it. Do you take longer, harder draws? Maybe hold the button longer? Not even realizing that you are doing it.

The reason I ask is because I feel like all of a sudden I'm doing it wrong but I haven't consciously changed anything. Smh, I am still using the basic set up. I vape the same juice as always but once the Clearomizer is like half full I start getting what I guess is a dry hit? It's horrible. I fill it back up and it's fine again til it reaches the halfway point. I've changed out a couple clearos to brand new and it's the same thing. The wicks can't keep up? Normally I can get through the work day with one full clearo. Now I'm lucky to make it to work without it failing.

I had some freebie juices and still the same problem. It's frustrating beyond belief. So I'm thinking have I changed the way I vape ever so slightly that it's causing it to not work right? How do I fix this?

Bizarre.
Did you lower your nic, or is the coil a different ohm??
Single or dual coil?

Off to get ready for work. Will catch back up when I get there. :)

Aha! That is a very good question. I ordered a gazillion way back when they had them half off. They came bubble wrapped and not in boxes, I would have ordered them 1.8ohm and single coil, but if they weren't in original packaging maybe they aren't what I've always been using. Thank you, Lori I will have to investigate further.

I know I've changed how I vape but I'm also aware of it since it was basically on purpose.

As to your problem, I don't remember what all required it but there were at one time a lot of clearo/tanks that needed to be full to operate properly for some reason ... once they reached the halfway point people would have trouble with them unless they filled them back up.

Do you have an Ohm reader or a mod that tells what ohm you have on it? You need one if you don't have any way of knowing what the resistance is on your coils.

    Good morning Dale.
Thanks for helping Sara with that, I had to run this a.m., but wanted to just quickly throw out those things to check/think about. :)
Could possibly be purchased nic that isn't as high as she thinks, and she's vaping more...thought of that after I posted. ;)

Good morning lurkers:wub::wub::wub: Lurking from work today. It's gonna be a busy one, lots of shirts to run through the shirt press so I can touch them up over the next couple of days.:)

51 degrees here this morning, it was only 50 at 11 am yesterday. Mother nature is doing odd things this last couple of weeks!

Sara I think we change some as we vape, but like Dale I recall clearos that had to be refilled at about 1/2 way. Might be what the problem is, then again if you haven't changed the brand of clearos that wouldn't really be likely... I don't know.:?:

Changed bedrooms in the tiny house last night. Crazy me wait til evening and change up everything. Bought an airbed for when DH comes and it felt good so I decided to use that room, slept til the alarm went off... was it the bed or the fact I'm further from the street sounds.o_O Anyway, I moved my dresser space, alarm, knickknacks and such so guess it's done. If the mattress gets uncomfortable I'll have to move the queen into the front bedroom and the twin into the middle. I usually wake up at least an hour before the alarm so something made a difference.:?:

You sound like me! Gotta go with the flow when the motivation strikes, even if it's already 9 p.m..
Yea on sleeping so well!!

Different nic might cause her to vape more but I can't imagine it causing that bad taste halfway through
I'm reluctant to think it's a dry hit since refilling seems to fix the problem if I understood Sara correctly :?:

It was already 62 when I first checked this morning with an expected high of 84 today

That's great that you slept so well in the new room on that bed, who cares why? ;) Then again, maybe you wore yourself out switching things around :?:

I do have the coil master tab thingy. Would that work for this?

    Good afternoon lurkers.

Hope you get it resolved sara. Like the others said, I would check the OHMs on a reader and see if something wonky is going on. Have you tried the same clearo on a different device? It's been a long time since I have used clearos. Does seem odd that the flavor is ok until half empty.

Ok so this is what I have
    11uf1ub.jpg

I pulled a brand new one apart this morning and it looks like a single coil. If it were dual you would see two instead of one, right? There were no markings of any kind as to the resistance and as I mentioned earlier they were all bubble wrapped (leaving the potential for error)

I'm not home at the moment to test the ohms but I definitely will try tomorrow.

When I first started using them, by the time I screwed the drip tip on/ put the juice away you could start vaping. Then in the last year I noticed I could no longer do that. Have to wait 5-10 min for the wicks to soak up the juice. If you vaped before it was ready, it was nasty. (I assumed that's a dry hit?) Now the last 30 ml or so of juice I've vaped I'm experiencing the having to fill after 1/2 the tank is gone or it tastes awful. When the tank is full there is no residual bad taste.

I have two ego style batteries that I rotate between (been using them for awhile) This weekend I will pull out a new one and charge it to see if that makes a difference. Maybe these batteries need to be retired. but I don't have a problem with them holding a charge or charging in a couple hour timespan. Also I have a 510 adapter (I think that's what it is) to use on the provari mini. I can try the tank on that also and see if it makes a difference.

Sorry this is so long. I will try out the different things you all have suggested and hope that something works. Thank you.
