Good night Dale, sleep well:wub:

I forgot on that lunch they also had 2 carrot sticks... boy that made a difference. And don't count on the milk filling them up, that is 2%. They can buy and extra milk but not an extra lunch. Bella carries her's but Grace still eats there and then comes home starved. Matt graduated last year so he isn't in it any longer.:confused:

We usually pack 1/2 pita thin with slice of turkey/cheese w mustard or salami/cheese w mustard (lettuce on turkey), clementine, banana or Apple, cheese stick or yogurt tube, and veggies. Rotate between cherry maters, bell peppers, cauliflower, carrots and small chef salad.

I think we have 2% milk also. Now I'm curious, will have to check.

They serve non fat or low fat white and non fat chocolate.

What is that? Non fat = skim and low fat = 2%? Or is that 1 & 2%?

We grew up on 2% and switch between that and skim (depending on which has the better expiry date)
I'm not sure which is which. I only drink whole milk. Too many years with fresh milk, to me anything else is like white water. Now they are saying the fat in milk is good for you, butter is better for you than margarine, etc. I don't worry about what they try to tell us, I just eat what works best for my body and taste buds. I'm spoiled, what can I say!:rolleyes:

Good evening Fran:wub:
Hi Lynn and Joey:wub::wub:

I have seen a day they gave our grand girls 1 piece of paper thin ham, a piece of string cheese, 6 grapes and 3 crackers. That qualified as a "healthy" lunch according to what they must give them. :shock: The girls are always starved when they come in from the bus!:(

We always carried our lunches when I was in school and yep, it was pbj or bologna too. :rolleyes:
That's a terrible lunch offering!!!!! :(

Good evening,Bobbi:wub: and goodnight,lurkers:wub:

School lunches here do provide more than that to eat, I don't know how good it is these days :unsure:

I'm getting pretty tired so calling it a night, y'all have a good one :)

Will swing through later. :)
Nope no chance to relax until Sunday unless they make us come to work lol
