It certainly should, pretty much SOP for an infected tooth ... the real problem happens when people feel better and decide not to have the problem dealt with on down the road

Yeah Lynn, Dale is right, the antibiotics should help with the pain...it's the infection that causes the pain and once that is gone, you start to feel better...I've gone through it several times and always hated it when they'd make me wait until the antibiotics kicked in before they'd pull the tooth...I just wanted it out! But you don't want that infection to spread, so make sure to take them all!

Funny thing about this whole thing is yesterday it didn't hurt at all.
