Good morning OBG, Rachel, Fran, Joey, Dale and Lori:wub::wub::wub:

Lurking from work. Gonna do my own laundry while I'm here too... haven't done it since before Tday, gonna have to go all natural if I don't get it done!

OBG a nice breakfast omelet with turkey would be nice in a couple of hours...bit early for me yet.;)

Rachel have a good day at work. Hope you are feeling better!

Fran it's 14 degrees here at the moment, it would be nice to snuggle up by a fire and watch the day fade away!:D

Joey congrats on the weekends off! A little time to recover is always a good thing! Hope they can figure out your problem with the test in January!

Dale, I just hate when I have to go back because I forgot something! Last week even with a list I couldn't seem to get it together.:(

Lori, couch time is a good way to feel better! Enjoy! I'd think nic sick would have worn off last night...:?:

I'll bet you're a bit behind since you've been sick! Good that you can do that at work!

I think it's a bit of a stomach bug. I agree, nic sick should've passed by this a.m., I'm sure over vaping didn't help.

Welp, I'm dressed, have eaten, gotten a load of laundry started, bed made, a quick pass to generally straighten up...need to empty the DW and load breakfast dishes, and I'm done for awhile. ;)

I wonder if the rice would be good as a dinner with maybe chicken and broccoli in it and a little cheese
    melted in ?
I think it would! It was somewhat the consistency of grits, so I would also think that any of the things that get added to grits (shrimp, cheese, bacon) would maybe be good.
Like I said, it's really bland, it tasted like nothing.

    ...I am a grits lover too :)

But I mess/mix them all up with my breakfast.

Grits, eggs, crunch up the bacon, tabasco sauce, hash browns and top with gravy

I love getting breakfast at Waffle House
I really like grits too, just not plain so much.
There are a lot of recipes at the Cream of Wheat website. :)
Breakfasts/breakfast dishes are definitely a favorite of mine, no matter what time of day.

This is interesting...similar to what you mentioned above.

I don't normally work on Saturday but Clay had some things he needed to do so I worked. This is one of those places you can work if sickish, and with Clay away since Thursday there wasn't really much choice! Today is only a half day, I close in 10 minutes then home to be a zombie til Monday! I'm ready to just do nothing!:p
