Yep, we survived. It wasn't too bad out, just cold. Been snowing all day but I can still see grass. The mall wasn't super busy and well Walmart...nuff said.

So, at work, they don't shovel anymore.
Apparently, if you've shoveled, and someone falls, they can sue you for not clearing the snow well enough.
If you haven't shoveled, and someone falls, it's an act of God.
That could be just here in wonderful IL, but that's what I was told when I asked if anyone was going to clear the snow several years ago.
...if it gets too bad, they will still clear the lot though.

41 now, going down to 39...and no snow yet...so we're better than a whole lot of folks this weekend.
