R1, did you see this a.m. when I said I'm not too far from Scott?
Maybe 15 minutes, via IL St Rte. 161.

Yepper. I lived in Caseyville during my time there. Great house, too. Pity it was in a lousy state.

Good afternoon lovely lurkers.

It's a balmy 38 here...up from 28 when I got up this morning. Even the dog says that's too cold! :p

Lynn, OBG, I'm with you guys...I love, love, love my waterbed....It's perfect on cold nights...too bad it's at home and I'm here with no heated bed. :?:

Hope everyone is enjoying their day and staying warm...I'm curling up with the dog to keep warm. :D

Nap time for me too.;)

Might want to set an electric heater to blow under that frozen sink and if possible on the pipes to the shower. Sometimes that's slow enough to not crack the pipes.:?:

See you later, I'm gonna go snuggle up under that big comforter and sleep til I want to get up or it's Monday morning... which ever comes first.:D

Wow!! It sure is bitter cold out there. It was cold in the gym too. :nah: I don't think tomorrow will be any better.

    It's y'all (which is singular).

    All y'all is plural.

I thought it was you who had the waterbed. :)

Just a quick flyby. Hope all y'all are having a good nap, hibernation, afternoon. ;)

Texas doesn't have a state income tax, either. :D

And the weather is a lot nicer.
Oh, that's good!! I didn't know that about Texas.

I thought it was you who had the waterbed. :)
Yep, gotta love that bed...think that's the main reason why I haven't given in and moved in with the BF yet...don't wanna give up my bed! :p:lol:

Well, now I remember why I haven't ever gotten one...
I told DH we need one for the basement, and he said NOOOOOOO, that he hates waterbeds.
Oh well, if I decide to get one, he just won't have to sleep on it. Would be nice to curl up in on these cold nights...even if it's just me and Rita. ;)

In fairness, he had one in his late teens/early 20's.
It was a total waterbed with no baffles...I think that's what they're called. I wouldn't like that either, but I get motion sickness pretty easy.
Haha...yep the BF hates them too...and he had one when he was younger as well, but it was one of the full motion ones...I wouldn't want one like that...mine does have the baffles...I like a little movement, but mainly just love the heated part of it and the way it just contours to the body for total comfort.

Mine is totally waveless. When Laura lived here we had to share the bed. If she got up in the middle of the night, or when she got up in the morning, I never noticed it. This thing stops moving in 3 seconds flat. I don't think I could ever sleep on a traditional mattress again. Too hard AND cold!
