58 isn't too bad. It's when the temps are hovering around freezing when things get a bit painful.

Yep I can put up with 40 for about 25 miles then I need to thaw somewhere :)

Depends on how fast you go and what you wear :)

Considering I don't ride anything short of a Geezer Glide, you're pretty well protected from the elements. Especially if you have the lowers installed.

Way back when, I attended a rally up in Eastern New Mexico. Stuck around for a few days afterwards with some of the chapter members and then headed west to Alamogordo to attend a training course to become a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor. Trip across the state was nice with temps in the 80s and 90s. As I headed up the mountains, it started to cool off quite a bit. By the time I hit Cloudcroft, it was snowing and hovering around the freezing mark. Took me 10 minutes to get the kick stand down and drag myself off the bike.

As I stumbled into the restaurant, noticed the coffee pot and wrapped myself around it. Waitress was about to give me hell when she noticed the bike outside. She brought out two more coffee pots.

TYTY, Dale and good morning to everyone I missed while I was off fetching and carrying for the hubby to get him off to work.

OBG and Retired...anything below 60 is too cold for me when it comes to a nice ride, LOL. Way back when with the ex it was all weather riding but I'm too spoiled to peel my frozen .... off these days. After about 4 hours it's hard enough just getting my knees to straighten up, LOL.

Oh! And I dunno' about the margaritas, I rarely actually make it INTO Del Rio, LOL. The Ranch is actually about dead in the center between Rock Springs, Del Rio and Brackettville and it's a major drive just to get out to a paved road.....therefore I make my own or just keep the coffee Irished up.

Not sure if it'll mess up the space time continuum, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
