Good morning everyone  Happy Tuesday!! It's a happy one cuz it ain't Monday. Woo! Hope you all have a great day!

My aunts tree blew down today. 80+ mph winds. This tree has been there a long time. She said it took out half the yards grass when it went down. Covered both lanes of the street. I am just glad it fell to the east, her chair where she spends most of her day is only slightly north west. Thank you God for watching over my aunt!!!

Oh wow Bobbi, I'm so glad no one was hurt. That is huge! Thank goodness it went in the opposite direction.

I have hot water! Came home from work, tried the kitchen faucet, and out came glorious hot water! Checked the bathroom and more glorious hot water!! I'm excited!! :)

Yay!! That's great news!!

It's 57 this morning o_O

Good morning Dale. 57 you say? I'll take it! ;) You can have my 28, snow...then ice...and eventually rain as it warms to 40 something.

Oh and then the wind, lots of wind tonight. 50+ mph gusts.

Good for you! Sometimes you just need a day like that!

Uggg I'm seeing we are under a winter weather advisory for tomorrow. :( up to 2 inches of snow and 1/4 inch of ice. Hope it doesn't head your way.
    :( That stinks.

Happens quite often. What better place to put something that takes up space and is rarely touched? Not to mention, gravity helps with the water flow. :)
True. I guess I was thinking what a pain it would be to replace one.
I remember the one we replaced at our house at the lake.
It was starting to show signs of rust, and DH replaced it before it actually failed. We only had to move it about 10 feet or so to get it outside, but even after he drained it, it dribbled rust.
Can't imagine having to retrieve one in that condition from an attic.
My friend has plaster ceilings too.
Just thinking about what a mess a leaking water heater in an attic could be. :)

Good morning retired and Lori

It's great that you can change up your days like that Lori ... even better if the ice decided to give you a pass ;)
Yes it surely is! :nun: It doesn't *always* work out that I can, but most of the time, it's not an issue to switch.

Welp, better run and get my breakfast, and gitter done. ;)
