Lori the line watcher ;)
I get weather watching naturally from my mother. ;)
Remember Accu Ollie from Channel 4?? We used to call my mom "Accu Jack" (her name was Jacqueline).
If you needed to know the weather, just call her. She knew the conditions for the any of the areas where we had loved ones. :)
Back before the internet, and smart phones, my nephew in FL used to even call her.

I'm sure that eases your mind:)
It does.
Hope he can get off the lot there. It's a pretty steep uphill, and asphalt.
People have been known to park up on the road and walk down the hill at work.
They often have to salt the hill to keep it from icing. We've had semi's even have issues getting out before.

...it will be fine. It doesn't look too bad here yet.
I think as an absolute worst case, he may find some slick roads. He'll be fine.
Tonight....well, that might be an entirely different story line there.

Lols, we're still in the dark ages with sand

I got stuck at a motel in an ice storm down there back in the early 80"s and when I called the county guy I was there to do a job for I ask when the road crews would get started clearing the roads, his answer was The Lord put it there and it's up to him to remove it.True story :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
